Best roller Covers
I've done a good amount of painting over the years and have tried just about every brand of roller covers. After giving the Wooster Pro roller covers a try I must say I found the perfect one. The roller covers hold the paint great and leave a perfect texture unlike cheap roller covers. Another massive plus is they don't shed at all. If you've used a shedding roller cover you can loose you mind picking out the fibers out of the wall. Do it right the first time with Wooster roller covers.

Hate to spend more money, but they do what I need and want
Virtually no shedding and good paint coverage without the dripping. Worth the extra money to me. Buying better rollers and paint saves more time than it costs in the end.

The issue I seem to cannot get past is when you are working in a bright room and the paint will dry at different rates obviously but the streaks like you could see the reflection of the light where the streaks don’t match up. Besides that it’s a great roller holes paint for a while and has a smooth finish.... as long as you paint the entire wall at once with one roller and then the second coat with the second roller. I remodel homes as well as currently remodeling mine.

Wooster paint hardware is my preferred brand. Recently and over the last 2 years I have performed may projects at my home and for others (friends and family mostly) when painting I have used many different paint hardware products and Wooster has become my favorite brand and 1st choice. I have not used the 4” roller yet and I wanted to see how it performed. The roller cover was made very well, I do prefer the plastic roller casement the mat is affixed too, as it slides on/off The roller a liot easier Than the cheaper cardboard tubes. I like how it fits, the quality of the product is very good.

If you like to dip your roller in the paint every 10 inches on your wall this is the roller cover for you. To be honest, I'd rather have a roller that shed as long as it held some paint. I have been painting for 35 years and this is by far the worst roller cover I've ever used. So. I'll repeat. If you want extra work, buy this crap

We hate to hear you weren't happy with the Wooster Pro Woven roller cover. This cover will provide a smooth fine finish. If looking for the highest production possible, we might suggest one of our high production knit covers like the Wooster Super/Fab or Wooster Pro Surpass. These covers will both pick up and release a large volume of paint and cover a large area. While they will provide a smooth finish, it is not as fine as the finish provided by the Wooster Pro Woven. Please feel free to contact Wooster Customer Service at 800-392-7246. We would be happy to help you choose the perfect applicator for your project and painting preferences.

To be honest, I was expecting a 4 inch mini roller cover but it was actually a standard 4 inch roller cover. I hadn’t used one of these for probably 30 years but decided to use this roller cover instead of a mini roller to paint three six panel interior doors to try it out. The roller cover tested was the Wooster Pro 4 inch with ½ inch nap. (Yes I know that you would normally use a ¼ or 3/8 inch nap for a lightly wood textured door.) The roller cover was somewhat difficult to load with a latex primer from a paint tray. The roller cover tended to not roll easily but slid more on a metal paint tray (probably because of the 1/2 inch nap). However, the Wooster Pro 4 inch roller cover did hold paint well and released it well on the surface. One of my favorite features of the Wooster Pro 4 inch roller cover material was that it did not leave any fuzz on the paint surface. It also did not splatter any little paint droplets like some roller covers do, especially those with the thicker nap. This Wooster Pro 4 inch roller cover did leave some bumps on the painted surface that looked like unpopped air bubbles (see photo). On the first door I used a brush to initially paint around the raised panels but decided to use the roller for the other two doors. Surprisingly due to the size and amount of paint that the Wooster Pro 4 inch roller cover held it worked very well on the raised panel area of the door. I slid the roller is the recessed area first to deposit paint and then rolled it out. I also used this roller cover to prime a small area ( 2ft x 3 ft) of patched drywall in preparation for painting. It worked very well for that application leaving no cover material in the surface and no splatter. It produced a very uniform finish. I would definitely recommend this Wooster Pro 4 inch roller cover if you have a need for a 4 inch standard roller cover. I would definitely try the 9 inch version next time I paint a room.

Very pleased with this high quality roller. Material is soft & holds quite a bit of paint but does not leave fuzz or strings. Plushness allows one to easily fill in small groves. I painted some older paneling in our spare room . I went vertical for my first swipe, then horizontally once or twice to fill in the small groves and finished with a vertical swipe. Took longer to write the do :) Making a nice straight edge was easy to doe. Sturdy inside plastic cylinder. Paint washed out easily when finished. Only problem I had was my old roller had a slightly smaller insert than what should have been used.

No fuzz, no problems. This is a great paint roller cover. This is a 9" (standard length) paint roller cover with 1/4" nap. I prefer 1/4" nap rollers for smooth surfaces (flat drywall) because it gives a smooth finish. This roller cover is good quality, no fuzz or fluff comes off the roller messing up the smooth finish. The edges are clean and trimmed so you do not have trouble with lap lines on roller strokes. I will use this roller again for my next paint project. Completely satisfied.

Wooster Pro 18 in. x ½ in. High-Density Woven Fabric Roller Cover is an excellent choice for any painter that has a large job applying finish. A ½ in. cover is fairly thirsty and when you use it on a semi-rough surface you have less chance of ill effects than when you use it on a smooth surface. Cleanup is effective and depending on how rough the surface it was used to cover, I could get 4 jobs out of one that had been cleaned well. Been using Wooster for years and have always been happy with my outcomes. In my photos I show you how it attaches to a roller and also the Wooster roller if you also need one. I have been using that one off and on for 18 years. I had 4 of them and am down to two, they can grow legs. They make a nice bucket for you to use to fill your roller with. I am sure Home Depot carries that as well..Good stuff!

You really can't go wrong with the Wooster 9 in. x 1/4 in. High-Density Woven Fabric Roller Cover. I have used Wooster roller covers in the past, typically 1/2" nap, for every situation under the sun.....or under my roof. Usually I use a 1/2" nap on dry wall, but this 1/4" nap was great. What really stood out is that it is lint free. For a person like me, who is a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to painting, really makes a difference. It is not made for anything but a smooth surface, so forget about most outside applications on any type of natural surface. So, if you are in the market for a well made and affordable roller cover the Wooster 9 in. x 1/4 in. High-Density Woven Fabric Roller Cover is probably the cover for you.

Wooster paint rollers are the best, and I've been using them for years. This 18" roller is the longest that I've ever used, though. It's made of shed-resistant woven fabric. It's usable on just about any surface, although this one is for semi-rough surfaces. It's also good with just about any paint of all sheens. We used it on drywall and the larger size roller made the job go much faster. It cleans up easily with warm soapy water. See photos below.

Wooster Pro 9 in. x 1/4 in. High-Density Woven Fabric Roller Cover is made with shed resistant woven fabric. Great to use on smooth drywall, wallboard, wood and metal. Since it’s practically lint free painting in kitchens and bathrooms is ideal. Works well with flat, eggshell, satin, semi-gloss and gloss paints. There is a double thick polypropylene core to resist water, solvents and cracking. I am using the 9 in. Heavy-Duty Roller Frame that is designed to prevent roller covers from slipping or walking and this cover fits perfectly.

I have used 1/2 nap in the past and decided to try the 1/4 nap because I’m using the Hi gloss paint for trims. This roller covered worked very well on smooth but on a ruff surface I needed more passes. These covers were great. Actually I used only one of these covers because they are well made and I took time to care for the one I used between paint sessions - once a week usually. It held up well and is ready for the next job. I took care of it by thoroughly washing it and then wrapping it in layers of paper towels. Once finished, I stood the cover on its circular end to ensure its round shape. There were a few times when I knew I'd be painting the next day or for 2 or 3 consecutive days with a same color. Then I would wrap the cover in wax paper and then Ziplocs bag and store the cover in the refrigerator overnight - again standing it on its circular end so the cover would not have a flat part. Time saver!! The cover was ready to go the next morning. I highly recommend this covers with 1/4 nap.

Wooster is usually my go-to brand for paint brushes and rollers because they have a good ratio of quality to affordable price. I used this roller to paint a new pre-primed door. The thin nap allowed for a smooth finish and less paint drips. I did not delint the roller first and there was not any lint that got in my paint. I would not use this nap on regular drywall. I have included a side profile picture of how thin the roller is. You can pretty much feel the tube beneath the fabric. You would be better off using Wooster' 3/8 nap which will hold more paint and get into drywall crevices better. I included a picture of this 1/4 nap as compared to Wooster's 3/8 nap roller. You will see what I mean about it being too thin to paint a large wall. Overall, this roller is a good representation of the quality I expect from Wooster. I would recommend it.

I love the coverage you can get using an 18" roller cover. I just completed painting an entire house using this roller. The entire house is the same color. The roller was working as great on the first room as it was the last room. My favorite place to use an 18" roller is on the ceilings. In my opinion, they provide a great finish/ pattern and they don't splatter when applying paint over my head.

Great Roller Cover -- True one-coat coverage
The quality of the roller cover and of the brush are the secret of a quality paint job. I recently painted our mudroom entry with Behr Premium Paint & Primer in a matte finish, using this high density roller cover. I remembered the rule of keeping a fully loaded roller and working quickly as you blend in previous strokes. This roller worked well. Minimal mess and a great finish, even when working with a Matte paint. Only one coat and I was done!
