Easy assembly, works flawlessly

Good grill except i had to bend/straighten or bang out dents of almost every piece as i assembled. Because of that i wouldn’t recommend buying this grill because this company’s shipping sources are garbage. The grill itself works fine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used propane grills and offset smoker over the years. After the old offset had to be dragged to the curb, rusty legs falling off. I started looking into something to replace it. I looked at reviews/info for a month. Finally settled on the Z Grill 7002B. I am very happy with the performance after the easy set up. Smoked a brisket and pork steaks, big hit. Plan on using it alot more for years to come. Only thing I wish the pellet hopper was easier to empty, don’t want to leave pellets in it more than a week, according to info I’ve read. Very Good smoker/grill.

Very well built grill. Instructions are well done and actually match what you receive (not always true anymore). Everything is heavy duty and the grill works great. Very happy and impressed.

Assembly was pretty easy! Very pleased with the construction! Very heavy gauge metal. Burn in was straight forward! Temps held well + or - 5 degrees! Ribs this weekend! Can’t wait! This smoker is better than Traeger for hundreds less!

Assembled grill perfectly and tried to start it auger will not turn at all

1 month review: This is my first pellet smoker. Ive got an offset smoker but wanted something easier to work with. Once you get it assembled, which wasnt difficult and took about an two hours to do by myself, its a breeze to use. Make sure after you very first get it assembled and before your first use thst you smoke out the manufacturers oil. It has these instructions already but figured I’d mention it here. That takes about 45 mins to an hour. Its also worth mentioning that the hopper should be reinforced with an additional washer on each side where it attaches to the barrel in the inside. I dont think the ones that come with it will do the job alone. Ive smoked a brisket and 6 racks of ribs (at separate times) on this and have been happy with it. I have my own temp probe that works as well. Another pro tip: clean this after each use. Grab a shop vac to clean it out and foil the trip tray for even easier cleaning. If you dont vaccum out the ignition piece then you risk an explosion. Theres a few videos on YouTube that show you how to do it. Simple. Effective. Awesome. This smoker is great.

I went from 0 to 60 with this smoker right out of the box and it was great! For Easter Sunday I smoked 2 racks of ribs and 2 whole chickens. The temperature held wonderfully and the meat had a great smoked flavor and was perfectly cooked. I highly recommend this smoker, especially at the price point! A little bit of a pain to assemble, but very sturdy.

its working really good, burns a lot more pellets in cooler weather but looking forward to using it in the heat of summer. Easy assembly and seems to be made of good materials.

The Grill came as advertised. Extremely easy to assemble is less than 30 minutes. Have used the Grill several times since it was purchased and it has performed above expectations. Would recommend to anyone interested in a new Pellet Grill or anyone wanting to start out with their first Pellet Grill.

My grill came unassembled, which wasn't hard to do but cumbersome at times working alone, I'm glad my wife was there to help when needed. The Z grill iss a very sturdy well laid out piece of cooking greatness.

Excellent smoker! I’m cooking the best food ever in this, with ease. The lower cost does not represent its ability. I would buy another if I had the space.

I had a great experience with the ZGrill so far. Easy way to grill, smoke, sear or even bake on the grill. Load the pellet hopper set the temp. And walk away. Simple

From putting it together to experimenting with all the food options, this has been a pleasure. Not sure why anyone would want to spend more for less of a grill! #zgrillforlife

Easy to assemble. Easy to do the initial burn. Easy to cook. It kept temperature great. My Z Grill is going to get A LOT of use!

Awesome! Holds temps in Houston weather. Great flavor, smokes great! Have smoked two briskets and salmon. Struggled a little at first checking temp every 20 minutes after using an old side box smoker for so long, but learned I can trust it. Should have purchased this years ago!

This thing is amazing! I struggled with which smoker to buy for about 3 months before I finally settled on this one and I’m so glad I did. I’ve done about 60 pounds of meat so far including chicken, pork, and beef at the same time and it’s literally set it and forget it. Combine this with a wireless multi-probe meat thermometer and you’re good to go! It’s incredibly efficient with pellets, consistently produces a 1/4 to 3/8 deep smoke ring and I see no way that a Traeger could be worth twice the cost.

Was a previous Treager guy. I find my Z Grill a superior product. Seems the steel is a heavier gauge, the lid hinges are much better, welded nuts makes assembly a snap. Much bigger hopper and cooking space. Plus come with a nice heavy duty cover. Just a better product over all in my opinion. Ribs last night and about to smoke some Laguna Madre redfish on it right now.

I think the Z grill is as good as the more expensive brand at a much lower cost.

Putting it together was easy, the food is amazing. My kids are eating foods that would not if not for this grill. It locks in flavor and gives the food a slight smoky flavor. I cannot wait to try brisket on this grill

Love this smoker! Wife got it for me for Christmas. No issues yet. I have used several flavors of pellets and it has withstood below freezing temperatures smoking in the midwest. Highly recommend this product.
