[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased a new ZLINE Autograph 36" white/gold hood last month to match the ZLINE range. The combo of the two is amazing and gets a lot of compliments. The hood power is more than enough to vent the 36" gas range.

Just installed and I have to say I'm very happy. It looks much better than what I thought it would. Installation was quite easy. It really sucks...meaning it could suck a golf ball through a garden hose. The control panel is intuitive and easy to use. It's not extremely heavy so there's really no need to have studs to mount to. That's your choice, but I used heavy duty wall anchors and it's not going anywhere. There are a couple things that aren't great and I need to call them out. When it's set for the top two speeds it's quite loud. Don't let them fool you by saying it's quiet. On the lowest setting it's reasonable, but you get up higher and it gets quite loud. But luckily it's only on when cooking so it's bearable. The grease cup that mounts on the bottom of the engine has a crappy connection scheme. Feels like it will just fall off. And although I'm grateful they put a protective film on the stainless steel grease filters, for the love of God use something that's not so difficult to get off. Last thing I will say is the spec. page says it's 30" wide. I was nervous because when my cabinet installed put up my new cabinets he only left me 29-7/8" inches. After reading this was 30" I was preparing myself to have to move my cabinets over a little bit. But luckily the hood is actually 29-1/2" wide so I had plenty of room to fit between my cabinets. In summary the hood looks great, it sucks great and installation is quite easy. Highly recommended. The minor issues are not enough to not consider buying it.

This is a beautiful piece. Arrived earlier than expected, although it took awhile due to Covid supply chain issues. It is the focal point of my kitchen and it doesn't disappoint. Extremely happy with the quality and design of this purchase.

Love this exhaust hood. Put one up in our outdoor kitchen. Works great Sleek design is not as big and bulky as some of the others in a small place. 2 of my neighbors have actually installed sme hood. Cost and performance are also a great deciding factor. It not easy find a reliable 304 hood other than Zline

I bought this in March 2018 and the lights just stopped working within the warranty period (about a year from when I bought it). The fan works fine however. Zline sent replacement parts; however we still can’t get it to work.

We did a kitchen remodel a must have was a outside vented exhaust hood. This model met and exceeded all expectations!

The BSKBN 36" Hood Vent was installed and and easy to use and very efficient to use. The light's work great and light up the work area perfectly. The hood fan works great in moving cooking smells and smoke from the cook area quickly. The installation was easy to do and the parts provided for the install were easy to use and informative. There is no option to purchase crown molding for this hood. I made and installed my own. I did purchase a crown molding package but it was for a different model and I was unable to use it or return it. This hood was a very good purchase and I would recommend. Thank you, LD1PROD

Easy to install, needed some round ducting and exhaust shield for outside. Finished to ceiling part with the stainless steel crown molding. Left protective paper on until wall work is complete.

I am very happy with this purchase. It is a little loud, but the appearance and functionality are great. I can live with it being a little loud.

I decided on the 36 In. Wall Mount Range Hood In Black Stainless Steel (Bsken-36) to go above my 30 in range (SO GLAD I GOT THE WIDER HOOD). The hood itself is perfect for the design of my clean line kitchen. It is not too showy 9as to take away from my soapstone counter) and also not your typical boring range hood. I love that the led lights have a dim option and that they are movable! Mandy with TheRangeHoodStore customer service was very patient and helpful in my quest to find a hood to fit with my soffit (only 74 inches of clearance from the ground). After much trial and error, we figured out the short kit addition would be the only way to go. That said, this model does not have matching molding and it turns out my soffit was not built square. My contractor and I will have to do some creative problem solving to hide this. Seems someone along this whole process would have considered that? Anyway, I selected a ZLINE hood due to the lifetime motor warranty. I was shipped 3 damaged or cosmetically challenged hoods.....and finally decided to keep the 3rd for a discount as I was tired of trips to fedex. There seems to be a need for better quality control and better communication with staff as to what would be necessary to install (we needed more clearance than what was mentioned). Also, I was not happy that the short kit cost me extra money and that I was not able to substitute it for the regular 16 inch chimney included. Now I have a $50 chimney section that will be unused. Seems so wasteful. The kitchen is not finished yet but I wanted to post a review because pictures of real life are so much for helpful when making decisions. Its a decent low noise level at 1, but anything above that and it would be hard to hold a conversation close to the stove. I dont mind, as the hood has a purpose to serve!

Its been almost 4 weeks since we bought this vent hood thru The Range Hood Store online. The fit & finish is beyond words, we opted to be unfinished since we were not sure what color we wanted our cabinets painted at the time we ordered the vent hood. The craftsmanship on the engraving was amazing!!! We just finished our kitchen remodel this past weekend and we couldn't be more pleased with hood. Very minimal sanding as it was pretty much ready for 1quart of primer & 1 quart of grey satin paint. Other than installing new ducting thru the attic and adding a roof vent the installation of the vent hood was pretty easy. Would highly recommend this product for any DIY project, plus save yourself some money & paint it yourself.

The hood came packaged nicely with extra light bulbs and was very easy to install. We like how quiet the fan operates and it is nice sleek appearance. But there is a problem: the upper conical section and the duct cover section are made of very low stainless steel (SS). It is nearly impossible to clean it despite using high-quality SS cleaners. Our other SS appliances clean beautifully with the same cleaners, but not this KB-36 wall range hood!

When our house was struck by lightning and caught fire a few months ago we decided it was the perfect time to remodel our kitchen. I chose this Zline range hood because it was the only one that I could find that was aesthetically pleasing to my eye and it matches my whirlpool black stainless appliances perfectly. The fan runs so much quieter than our old hood even on speed four. Our big move in date is coming in four days so I’m very excited to finally be able to be home again and enjoy my newly modeled kitchen complete with the Zline contemporary style range hood.

I purchased this hood to put over my 48" range! It is a wonderful hood, good looking, and very functional! Arrived quickly and well packaged...no problems at all!

Turned out beautifully. Only problem was the screw at the top of the piece needed to be a bit longer

I purchased the stainless with copper trim and stainless nail tacks over a year ago. It is of good quality. Design-wise it’s gorgeous. Functionality- wise -fan works great

Third hood I bought from the range hood store.The unit is built sturdy, has a powerful motor to properly vent the air and lights are just enough to illuminate the stove.

Needed a 24 Inch blank wall mount range hood. Found just what I wanted. Looks great.

This was just installed into kitchen remodel a few days ago. So far, I love how powerful it is and so quiet compared to my previous hood. There were a lot of fingerprints on it after install, but cleaned up nicely with stainless steel cleaner. Very happy.

I needed to fit an overall ceiling height of 84" and this hood with the short kit came through perfectly. The fan power is great and the look is better than I hoped.

I got a damaged hood and they replaced it in very fast and excellent customer service. I 'm retired and my wife and I love to cook.So the remodel required top line cooking the zline hood was the perfect choice for us! We bought a 6 hi-heat bunner commercial confectionrange/oven the 760 cfm is the right choice and well a picture is better than words just look.

Not too noisy, works well, and looks nice. I vented it to the wall to the left of the range (where there was a hole from the exhaust fan that was there), so I had to use three 90-degree elbows and about 100 inches total of duct. It still works fine. So nice to have after 26 years in this house without one. No more sticky kitchen. And with the good lighting, now I can really see what I'm doing. Oh, and the service was excellent: I think I received it in 2 days.

Received sooner than expected. Installation instructions were comprehensive, took less than an hour. I recommend getting the crown for the top if the chimney. It gives a really nice finished look. Had some of the grills that were damaged in shipment (2 of 4 in the 48” hood). I called Z-Line and had the grills a few days later without any hassle. I would definitely recommend Z-Line and the Range Hood Store as a great companies to do business with!!

I just purchased the walnut 42" hood and it looks amazing. It installed within an hour complete with electrical and venting. It was the perfect addition to our summer kitchen. Not only does it look great, it is quiet and the lights are perfect for added light over the grill. I am looking forward to using it this summer.
