I am the worst at bonfires, and am starting to believe that all forest fires are hoaxes because I can't start even a "small one" in my backyard. So I pick up a couple of these COCONUT SUPER FIRE LOGS for my bonfire, y'know to start it and keep it going. There are two in a box and light easily like a big candle. They stay lit and create sustainable fire. My bonfire started slow but got big in short order (see photo). The COCONUT SUPER FIRE LOGS are supposed to burn for 2 hours. After one hour and a half, I found one and took a picture (below). Then with raking everything around, I lost it in the pile. So I know that it's good for about two hours.

These logs are rated to last 2 hours but for some reason they seem to burn out much faster than that. I do like the size of the logs and they are very easy to light up. When you look at the logs themselves, it appears they have seeds and other elements that would cause the log to pop and crackle. In my case, I didn't find this the case. The logs are very soft and really do seem to not last very long.

These fire logs are basically very long-burning candles. They are made of wood and wax and they even have a wick (see photos). The wick makes them super-easy to light - no kindling, wadded-up newspaper, lighter fluid, etc. necessary. They work especially well with regular logs because they are so easy to light and because they burn a long time. Just put one in the middle of your firepit, light its wick, and then add regular logs. Again, no kindling required. Even if you don't normally like to buy pre-cut fire logs one of these things will make it much easier to use your own wood.

The logs themselves are very pretty. The box contains two separate logs, that you’re supposed to use together for a single fire. Each log has a WIC on the end so it’s very easy to light them. Once lit the flame takes over the log fairly quickly and soon you have a blazing flame. I used two in my outdoor firepit.I did really like the logs until I started seeing these large burning embers flying into the air skyhigh. The logs themselves fall apart as they burn, which I guess is what they’re supposed to do, and it looked very pretty with the burning embers underneath the logs. But the pieces that were flying in the air were huge! And there was a ton of them! I ended up having to put the fire out right away because it was getting out of control. I really wanted to use them for my fire pit, but they’re just not going to work there so I’ll try them in my fireplace next. I think they would be perfect in a fireplace type setting, not something outdoors. I mean the embers were so big and the flames were so high, you would never want to sit around that fire and roast marshmallows You’d be running for cover!

Overall I'm not thrilled with the ecofire Ecococonut Super Fire Log 2-Hour Burn Time (3-Pack). It certainly burns bright, fast, and easily starts with just a match strategically placed. And, like another reviewer mentioned, I certainly would not used more than one at at time. One, placed with other more traditional logs, is easily enough. My problem is with the packaging. It made a mess, to the point that I have to store the logs in my garage. So, does it work, yes. However, the mess it makes is not worth it.

Candelazo/Eco Coconut and The Home Depot offer nice little ground up Coconut shell fire logs ! These come packed three logs in boxes ! In the boxes are two 6 inch mini logs. They are easy to start and can be used alone or two at a time. They also work great as wood fire starters ! (see photos) No toxic fumes makes them perfect for a nice evening fire ! For me, they only lasted about one hour but gave off great flames ! Lasting two hours would make them perfect !

I normally always see some room for improvement with products, but these logs are the way to go. I have no complaints on how easy they are to light. It's like lighting a candle. The amount of fire given off by a single log by itself is all you would want for a living room fireplace. It burns large enough to successfully get a piece of railroad tie going. There's a warning on the box about using 3 or more logs would produce a large flame. If one log can burn hot and large enough to light up a railroad tie and make my fireplace feel like an industrial boiler, I would say using 3 would be reserved for a seriously large bonfire.

Those did not work for us. The logs came poorly packaged dripping coconut bits everywhere. More surprisingly, they came without instructions or even safety handling warnings. They do burn very well, a two-part log lasted about 30 minutes, much quicker than the advertised two hour. My main point of concern is the way the logs burn: they crate a very powerful fire with regular massive explosions of sparks that do not look very safe. For this last reason, I won't be using those again, even if they smell good.

We are always looking for clean-burning, fuel-efficient, ecologically-sound logs for our fireplace. These are unique and work pretty well. Each package has two 6-inch logs. The two logs together do last almost (but not quite) two hours. They burn well and burn clean. They light easily and put out some solid heat. They do not produce any smoke or odor. Overall, we are pleased with them.

ECOFIRE ECOCOCONUT SUPER FIRE LOG 2-HOUR BURN TIME (3-PACK), I just got these . I got them in a convenient three pack, which would be a great little fire at home , or a nice little camp fire at your favorite camping place. You might also use one of these great logs by placing it near the bottom of a stack of regular loge , as the agent it start your camp fire at night, or to start it in the morning to cook your breakfast, just by lighting one match to the wick of this unique easy to use fie log, each log will burn for two hours by itself, or add other logs and have your self a nice big fire to share with your friends and family. Can’t go wrong with this!

Lit easily, but burned pretty fast. One log alone was pretty "meh." But two together made for an interesting fire with a little bit of heat. Over the course of about four hours, I burned 5. A nice fire but probably not a better value than Duraflame
