As a homeowner and somewhat of a handyman I often need help to answer my questions. I see few employees and when I see them they just pass me by. They always seem to be in a hurry. Not a hello and definitely not a may I help you. I have shopped at this store a few times and trying to find someone to help me is very difficult. I asked for help during one visit and the employee said they would be right back. I waited 15 minutes and then left. I would certainly like to shop at this store because it is close to my home and it is very clean. A few times I have become frustrated and left to go to another home improvement store where customer priority seems to be much better.

Always a pleasure shopping here, but today was extra-special because of our casier Maame! As we approached the front to check out, she enthusiastically greeted us and directed us to her register. She was so friendly and cheerful: she was genuinely happy to be taking care of us! It really made our day! Maame is a precious jewel of an employee...one of the great things about our local Home Depot that keeps us coming back!

The Cornelius Home depot store has always had what i needed, with Associates available to ask questions. As a DIYer, this is very important, since this gives me the confidence to do small jobs around the house myself. I get a lot of personal satisfaction in doing my own repairs, and The Home Depot has saved me a lot of $$$$.

I am a painter and shop at this store at least 3-4 times a week. It is my favorite Home Depot in the area. Jim in the Paint department is super helpful and provides great service.

All the employees I ran into were pleasant and helpful. Sarah at checkout was especially good. I am in my late 70s, and she didn't treat me like I was helpless, as so many young people do these days. She was refreshing.

Had a great experience in picking up an item ordered on line. Item was there, line was short, checkout was quick and Gil helped me find additional products that could help me with my project. He was helpful, not pushy. Overall a great experience.

The employees at this store were EXTREMELY helpful , polite and friendly! I went in on a time crunch and had a broken dress form Richard and Charlie immediately went to work and fashioned an even sturdier stand!!! Then Rickie-Lynn checked me out quickly and efficiently ! Getting me out in less then 30 minutes!!!

Dennis in lawn and garden (mowers and trimmers) was fantastic and help me multiple times to get the correct trimmer and get it working correctly. Thanks Dennis!

Nothing like feeling welcomed when walking into a store. Second best feeling is not being afraid of asking stupid questions when soliciting help on projects. Both have always been rendered in the highest regard at this store since I moved to the area. I have needed help from every department, and the staff has always turned me in the right direction for all my homeowner projects. Great cashiers whom always thank me for my service as Vet, and carry great conversations during the check out process. It feels as if I am visiting friends vice buying from a stranger.

The store was clean, well marked and everyone I encountered was friendly. The associate took the time to understand the item I needed and went above and beyond to show me what I would need to do at home.

The paint department has a great star in Kim...(with long ponytail I hope.that is her name) as she is the paint guru. She helped me get paint ordered and paid for here to have mixed back in my hometown and picked up the day after.Christmas by the painter. . Also Sondra at the register worked well understanding our needs and communicated all tonthe.Wilmington Store. Great Teamwork Kim and Sondra! You made my Christmas Bright!! I recommend this store EXCEPT tile and flooring . Once an employee recommended that I go directly to Datile bc they have more of a selection. Told me they sell sell to laymen. Headed up to Morrisville in traffic and was told they only sell to contractors and it was appointment only. This time I went and two employees in the tile area were very condescending even though they had no clue what they were talking about. I do like going to the other areas. And the cashiers are great-especially Michelle!

Had a great experience buying appliances for our new home. Manny took awesome care of us. I also signed up for a Commercial credit card because we will be back.

Great service at this store. The associate helped throughout the entire process and the Assistant Manager stopped in as well. Very friendly and knowledgeable.
