I recently moved to the area and had the most incredible customer service experience at the Home Depot in Marina del Rey. Having visited many Home Depots before, I can confidently say this location has set a new standard for excellence. After waiting for assistance and having three associates call out for help, I was incredibly fortunate to encounter Mayra, Maria, and Whitney. These amazing ladies went above and beyond, demonstrating a "no job is too big" attitude and a determination to assist in any way possible. Their patience and kindness shone through, especially when dealing with my restless two-year-old. They engaged with her wonderfully, which was a huge relief. Despite my own misunderstanding and initial embarrassment, they reassured me and turned what could have been a frustrating situation into an unforgettable experience. It was truly beautiful to witness such genuine care and kindness, all to ensure my satisfaction. Their exceptional service left a lasting impression, and I can't thank them enough. The entire visit was a joy, from the moment they began helping to the end of my transaction with Amelia and Barbara. Amelia even gave my two-year-old a balloon, which made her day and showed just how thoughtful the staff is. This memorable trip to Home Depot will be a story I share for a lifetime, and I genuinely hope it brings more business to this location and the company as a whole. Today's experience at the Marina del Rey Home Depot has more than made up for past negative experiences in other parts of the state. It is clear that Home Depot is investing in their employees, as this team exemplifies outstanding customer service. Have never has an issue with items purchased. However, their return policy very simple.

This location has stepped up their game with better employees who actually know where products are!!! FLORA is amazing. I came in with a list of items and she directed me to the first one , explained the different option available, and as I went down my list she knew exactly the aisle and bin number!!! I didn't have to waste time searching. Upon self check out exit friendly cashiers. I use to dread coming here as no one was on the floor to help you- now you can find several people eager to help!! Game changer!! You'll be happy you came

I bought a Hunter ceiling fan and it claimed a whisper quiet motor. It was true and wobble free. Way better than other brands

Watch out - they do nothing to police the parking lot and so it turns into a home for under the table workers and food sellers. I don't mind that if it's within range, but when there's 90-100 people, 3--50 trucks that are not there to shop at HD it becomes a PROBLEM.

I bought an item that rang up wrong at check out. They immediately corrected my charge and took the extra step to correct the floor stock label to ensure the next customer didnt have an error also.

Bought six cameras and had to come back to return them because they weren’t connecting to my wifi. Returned for $262 on a store cc. Since this store didn’t have the wyze cameras I wanted to get in stock, they sent me to another home depot (jefferson blvd). I end up having to pay for the wyze cameras at the Second store with my debit card bc the store cc was pulled up only having $21 on it. This store told me to go back to the first store(playa vista) and check with them about this issue, there was nothing they could do on their end. I go back to the playa vista location and the cashier at the customer service said the card does have the $262 amount. So to just get rid of the cc card (bc originally i was going to use the store cc to buy my cameras) i wanted to return the cameras i bought with my debit card and buy it back with the store cc. The manager rudely interrupted my transaction, stated I won’t get my full amount back on my debit card because the cameras are cheaper at their store(but they dont even have them in stock). So if i were to return the cameras, i dont get a full refund(even though i just bought them). I’m not understanding how that works and he dismisses me with a “i have a store to close” even though it was only 7pm and the store closes at 9PM. This was the worst customer service experience i have ever encountered and it was honestly really upsetting to have to go through this with home depot. I was not being heard as a customer and nobody wanted to help me with my situation.

I have visited many Home Depot stores and this store is a cut above the others.

I went to Home Depot to see about installing a deck. I was fortunate to have Lisa Varela at the PRO desk to assist me. She was extremely knowledgeable, thorough , professional, patient and helpful. She made sure that all bases were covered! Felt at all times she had my best interest at heart. What would work for my needs so to speak. Not trying to sell me the most expensive products available or more then I needed.

I bought a number of plumbing items at the Home Depot MDR today. Upon checkout I was told that the store no longer provides bags. If I wanted to bag my purchases I needed to pay Home Depot more money for paper bags. Terrible policy - yet more corporate greed. Home Depot makes more profit - the customers pay the price. I guess Arthur Blank needs more money to spend on the Falcons as the NFL salary cap is going up.

Walked in a joe was very helpful, he is such a chatter and said his manager is the one that makes the associates have some purpose. It hard to come by with leaders who have people skills so who ever is reading this from the big wigs kuddos
