Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BrianM Excellent door, well built. EASY install
I bought the 3000 series with the drop down screen/window. Very simple installation. I put this on in northeast winter, with many days below zero and strong winds. What a difference. Plus my small dogs can look through the bottom glass on nicer days, and no worries about them getting to the screen since it is top only. Plus you can drop down as much or as little screen as you want. Heavy duty door and heavy brass hardware. Just like my other anderson doors and windows. Top notch and no question warranty. I will be putting another one on my side entrance.

This door took about 3 hours to install. The instructions had some pictures, but none that depicted the door from a front view. I was disappointed that Andersen included silver screws for around the outside of the door when the door we ordered is black. Luckily I had some black paint to cover them. I suggest buying a can of $.99 spray paint and spraying all the #8 x 1" screws black before the install.
I do suggest that Andersen reviews the instructions and shorten them up some with real pictures of what the door should look like when hung (up close too, so we can see the z bars attached to the brick mold). We were confused if our hinge was somehow on wrong. I actually had to take a walk around the neighborhood to see if other doors were attached in the same way as ours.

This is a well made sturdy storm door. Great fit and feel of materials. Install is a breeze if you have any mechanical ability, by far the least complicated door I have ever installed. Be sure to use a bead of silicone around the flange and you will be air tight.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GMoon Great purchase and Quality Storm Door!
This door was the easiest door to install and it looks great. Loved the ease of everything being right there to install. The door handle was purchased separately but was also very easy. We don't understand why the handle can be shut in an upright position with the top button though. Anyone care to let us know that? Dead bolt lock is also great and you can unlock from outside with key. Highly recommend!

The door comes ready to install, but it does knot com with lock handle. if your door opening is not straight you'll have to make it straight the door dose not have a lot of forgiveness. it also is hard to get door to hang straight always end up with handle side hanging down lower. when I opened the box I found the two role insulation was mustached when packed. It took me about 4 1/2hrs. to install.

Installation could have been a lot better if the door frame was not so flimsy. Hinges are also very soft, as the door began to sag as soon as I removed the holding clips. I had to grind off the top corner before it would close, Window open nicely and provides a screen. Door functions as it is supposed to after modifications were made.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Piano2ner Great door, excellent value
The door is simple to install, and it looks terrific! My only three minor complaints: 1. The screen does not go all the way down, so you always see part of the upper sash in the bottom panel when screen is down. 2. The part that holds the door open does not extend the door as wide as I would like it to. Not a huge deal, but it would have been nice to be able to prop it open at a wider angle. 3. I ordered the "brushed antique brass" hardware, and I was a little disappointed that it looked more black than antique brass. It still looks great, but I would have gone with the "chrome" if I had know this ahead of time.
Overall it is a very sturdy, heavy door that has enough power to latch on its own on the way back.
Though the shipping was expensive, the door was delivered promptly (the delivery company carried it all the way up on to my porch), and nothing was damaged.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by ddssff We thought Anderson would mean quality
We decided to spend extra by buying two sets of doors of this up market brand, but the results have been terrible. The screen arrived bent, the closer gets stuck open, and the locking mechanism gets stuck locked. We just had to remove the closer so the door swings freely and hope the locking issue doesn't come up.
