This is a very nice storm door at a very reasonable price. Hardware is included in the price & love the push button hold opening on the door. We installed the hinge at the top instead of the bottom & works great. The door doesn't open fully only about 3/4 of the way which works perfect for us. You can't beat this quality bargain!

Install was a bit harder than expected - especially the handle installation. Handle is on wrong side which is annoying but may have been my fault on order - the door view was opposite on the website than what it actually was which was misleading. Still a nice door though.

Pre hung ready to put in opening and other parts a breeze to install.
Look at u tube video on installation first and you can do this.
Pay the extra for the low-E glass to reduce heat build up on the main door and in your room.
YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR IN STORM DOORS AND THIS IS WORTH IT.

Was expecting the easy glass/screen removal but found out that feature is only on the series 4000. Still a nice door.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Pella Not waht I was expecting for an Anderson
Fit and finish about average. Installation, tricky to get door aligned and adjusted so it shuts smoothly and latches well. Comments on glass and screen removal and installation spot on. Very cheap and not reusable friendly plastic retainer holds glass and screen in. Not feasible for reinstallation so you'll need to order new retainer or figure something else out. Door operates very poorly with screen installed as closing and opening are problematic. Weight difference of glass vs screen causes the door to be pretty useless with screen installed. Also very disappointing that replacement glass is not carried at the stores and has to be special ordered .

I have an Anderson door that has the latches in the frame to get the glass in and out easily. I couldnt find that model, so I bought this one cause it doesnt have any bar across the middle. My first impression was that Anderson cut corners on this one.
It was easy enough to install. The materials are light and dont feel like my other door. It feels almost cheap. Once we got the door up, I noticed it has no skid plate. The door latches onto the frame. You cant even buy one for it. I dont get kid. It isnt secure by any standard. I called Anderson to see if I was missing something and nope.
The beast came when I went to install the screen. Oh my lord, how did this one skate past the testing phase. You have to pry 4 retainer strips into these grooves to get it to fit right. We tried for 2 hours and finally gave up. Two are in right, the other two are hanging on somehow. I looked it up on the Anderson website and the FAQs stated, "There is nothing wrong with the product. It is just hard to do.", regarding installing the retaining strips. It is mid-November and Im dreading the thought of installing the glass. So, Im off to Lowe's next week to buy a Pella and Im giving the Anderson one to my dad for his shed. We'll just apoxy the screen on. Otherwise, the door is pretty my useless.
I have to buy the door and door knob, that I think can to about 270. Just buy something better and spend the extra 30 - 50 bucks. Ill never go cheap again. Im disappointed in Anderson.

Wanted a storm door for the natural light and ventillation. It's exactly what we wanted, color, finish, hardware, kickplate. Not horrible to install, but have to be careful that it's latched all the way or it will drift open. Definitely recommend.
