64 inch length was available, so that's what I bought. I needed 48 inches, but it wasn't available. A few minutes to pry out the plugs in the bottom rail, remove the excess slats, trim the ladder, and put it back together made a right-size blind. The instructions were quite clear about this procedure.

These products in this price range have a reached a new low in quality. They are flimsy almost to the point of unusable and the draw string design is all but non-functional. I buy these for rentals and don't expect them to last but they are almost unusable out-of-the-box.

This blind was easy to install and looks great. I will be getting more as I continue to update my house.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by masterplumber For the price, a very nice blind
I gave it a four because it is not a high priced item, but that, as in my case, is often an advantage. They look very nice and are a breeze to install. The first one took a bit since they install differently than the "norm", but after that, really easy. I do not understand the complaints by some that they are difficult to install because they are not. The only real complaint I have is the limited color selection, but that is driven by price

Bali does not make the same quality of aluminum mini blinds as 15 years ago. The top of the blind has a gap where is not blinded. How could this happen? If you are not picky about it then I would recommend it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by CWinCO Good product, but the color is different than shown.
These are a good value for the money, especially with the free shipping. The instructions aren't great, but the blinds were still easy to install. The quality seems good and was even a little better than I expected.
The color is actually much darker than what's pictured on the website. It's more of a dark pewter with a slight reddish/golden tinge. Nothing at all like the light pink tone depicted. I'm glad they were darker and think it looks much better. These blinds do a very good job at blocking out light when they're shut.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by dlp Defective mounting brackets create struggle and headache
Typical blinds are installed with brackets that all have a basic, similar design. You first mount the bracket. Then the bracket has two features. A hook in the front to initially hang the blind and then a clip to secure. You hang the blind and when it is positioned correctly you rotate the blind main frame into place engaging the clip. With me so far?
The hook portion of the mounting bracket is defective. It is not properly formed and it is IMPOSSIBLE to initially hang the blind. The brackets are hardened steel and will break if you try to bend the hook to it's correct shape. I know. I purchase 5 sets of these blinds and they all had the same defective brackets.
The only way to use these brackets is to install them with the screws loose so you can initially hang the blind and then finish screwing down the screws while the bind is hanging loose and position the blind at the same time without having the whole assembly dropping to the floor and bending the heck out your blinds. I know.
I'm a mechanical engineer and work in the manufacture of metal products. And I restore vintage cars. I'm stating this to assure you that I'm not simply failing to follow instructions. Installing these blinds with the brackets provided may be too difficult for some people. If you work on cars and are use to reaching into blinds areas to do 2-hand tasks using one hand then this may be for you. Otherwise, forget it. Buy brackets that are not defective before you start.
