Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice, clean and easy to install Needed a blind for our newly finished basement bedroom. This was a perfect fit and easy for me (62 yo female) to install. The adjusters are OK , but would have preferred the wand because it wouldn't bang on the window with the blinds up. Overall, it works for what I needed. August 19, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Attachment of Valence is Unmanageable I've put up dozens of blinds over the years and these have the worst valence attachment scheme I've come across. They provide flimsy plastic clips that have to snap into a T track that runs the length of the valence. When doing an inside mount, you end up having to crane your neck in an unnatural position to look behind the valence in order to see if the clip is aligned with the T track. Then you have to pound on the valence to _snap_ it into place. I underlined the word _snap_ because it's anything but a satisfying snap. It's more of a mushy thud. Just when you think you've got it, one end falls down. I spent as much time trying to attach the valence as I spent with the rest of the installation. It's a shame they put so little effort into the valence attachment, they're pretty nice blinds otherwise. June 1, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product for a great price I really wanted shutters in my new home but they just were not in the budget so we decided on a 2" blind (thats all I thought was available) but then we found these 2-1/2" blinds and they look great in our oversized/oddsized windows. Great product for a great value. Home Depot online, received them in 3-5 business days. We purchased several sizes for a total of 21 sets of blinds. Love Love them and my husband said they were very easy to install. July 21, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quite impressed While not a complete idiot, I've never actually purchased or installed new blinds before. I'm very impressed with these so far. They installed easily (outside mount), and as far as I can tell will hold up mechanically for years. I chose these instead of the 2" slat version simply because of the more ornate runner (I think that's the correct term). As it turns out, I'm in love with controlling the angle with pull chords and I like how the open/close chords are bundled into a separate one piece handle. I shopped custom blinds and out of the box blinds at various stores and I'm extremely happy with the money I saved on these. The only negative is that the "wood" colors are very limited so I was forced to choose white. On the positive side, the white matched perfectly with the white trim color I used (I brought a sample into the store to compare). January 4, 2012

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love the blinds, they look great and affordable. At first I was started by the $50ish price, but after I saw other blinds of similar quality (about double that price), I decided they were the lesser of two evils. The quality is great, they look f'n fantastic, and my wife loves them. They are easy to use and to mount in the window. October 8, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Update from Blue My miniblind disaster was resolved. I called the # on the box and spoke with a nice lady who put me in touch with the factory. She says maybe the blinds were a bad batch which caused the bowing. Everyone was very nice and helpful & I went back to my store & purchased the same product in white....Got home looked at the inner ends of the slats, poked at them with my fingernail, looked at them under a magnifier & decided the mdf was too soft and eventually would warp again over time as moisture got to them. I didn't want to waste good money so we are returning them and I went with Levelors which appear firmer and only time will tell how they hold up. I like the appearance of the Home Collection much better but had to go with my findings that the new ones might not bow. Of course if they do, back to the store they go. January 10, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Wonder what they meant by heat resistant! We loved the blinds, the function, the privacy feature. Took the time to get them to the correct length. The blinds were not even up a full 24 hours, in cold winter weather, & in a south facing bath window. They were fully closed with a panel curtain in front of them and when I swung back the curtain the blinds were warped so badly it looked like they had been hit by a 80 mile and hour wind blowing on them. I was shocked to say the least! Now we hopely will be able to return them to the store and will have to forget about the neat features these blinds have and probably buy those lousy router hole blinds in a stronger material. Home Depot use to carry GrandWood Faux blinds (China made) and we have had them for years in south facing windows with no problems to report. Now they carry this softer material from China and who knows what is in them and if they can't last 24 hours in a sunny window there is a problem. We also have Bass Wood blinds in south facing bath windows and over an 8 yr. period only 2 slats warped a bit. But nothing close to what we have just experienced. This is so dishearting, all the labor and running to the store to get them, now to have to take them down, rebox them and haul them back. I wonder if this was just a fluke or has any one else had this experience with these blinds in a sunny window? January 8, 2012
