Answer:
Hi Mick, Brick mold is a wooden trim used around a door when the house has brick veneer. Most prehung doors do not include the brick mold trim. You add the trim after you hang the door. I hope this helps.

I am looking at door that opens into a kitchen from the exterior. From the outside, the hinges would be on the right. But if I am looking at it from the inside, the hinges are on the left.

How is this specified?

Hi Jimbo,
I'm Travis from The Home Depot. Thanks for visiting our site.
Stand with your back to the side with hinges. Move your hand in the direction of the door movement without crossing your body.
The door that you describe is a Right Hand In Swing door.
Thanks for asking,
-Travis

Rated 3.0 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by This Door Was A Disapointment I have purchased 4 other exterior doors from Home Depot for this house and they installed all of them. They were all 5 star installations and great quality doors. This door and the install have been a great disappointment. The door arrived scuffed up and it has a very rough plastic looking finish. The hinges are course and not all have all of the screws installed. Home Depot charged me for several items for the install that I did not receive or were never used including jamb extender $50, door stop $17 and other trim pieces. The crew showed up late and did not have all the parts. They installed the door with about a 1-1 1/2 inch gap all the way around with no shims and insisted that they are suppose to use screws to shim the gap. the trim install was rough and I will have to redo parts of it. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great firberglass door. great door! fiberglass is the best type of door to buy better then steel for sure. didn't have any problem with the install. the reason the jamest said it looks a cheap finish is because the door is primed so it needs to painted. and had bad installer I had no problem with door it a great door.
