They call this a security door but all you have to do is push the big screen in and unlock the door from the outside. Why would you call this a security door. I bought this brought it home and had to return it because in my opinion is not a security door. If your looking for a real security screen for security purpose buy the one that says perforated metal screen. If you get one that says bug screen all it is is a screen like on you home Windows. hope this helps someone.

Pleased so far! We'll see how it holds up. We had a very experienced person install the door and he had some trouble, hence the fair rating on ease of installation. Very attractive and appears to be very sturdy.

I liked the way the security door looked, and wanted the insect screen so I could open the front door and let the air blow through. Had a professional install it, and basically I love the extra security and the ventilation. The only negative is that this door did not come with the specific drill bit needed to install the heavy-duty bolts, but the security door that I bought for my back door did; so we didn't have to go shopping for a drill bit. Love the way it looks; love the extra security. No chance for a kick-in-the-door run and grab operation. I'm very happy with the security door.

It's a good quality door that was shipped to the store for me to pick up. Installation was easy but it did not come with the required tool for installation of the one way screws.

The door is beautiful and sturdy. If there is an earthquake here in California, I think I'll hold on to this door! My only regret is that the screening doesn't have a shield at the bottom, and the screening seems a little 'delicate'. Having small dogs, I'll be investing in a shield.

We wanted this door to provide some security while providing a breeze to the side of the house. The installation was not for pure amateurs. My father (a contractor with 40 years experience) installed it for us and did it fairly easily. It would have been difficult for either me or my husband. You do need a special "one way" bit so the outside screws can't be taken out (part of the security). We could not find this bit at Home Depot, so he ended up just using large hex screws. We figured it would take people a long time to get all those screws out. The door is fairly sturdy, but not an extremely strong security door. We don't have a lot of crime, so I wasn't interested in a $700 door.

Very well built. The best thing is that it comes with everything you need to have a professional quality door once it is completely installed. But, you have to know what you're doing. It is not an easy installation.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Dale Door looks good installed
I'm glad I hired a handyman to install the door which took him about 3 hours. The instructions that came with the door were in Spanish only. The screens were especially difficult to install since the self-tapping screws were somewhat dull. The foam weatherstripping was sloppily installed and will probably need to be replaced. The door looks good installed and is sturdy.
