Holes were not in normal alignment. Had the door less than one month and it is already rusting.

Dogs and bugs stay out. I hired a professional installer and there are still things I'd do differently next time. Plan ahead for every step. Installing over stucco was not pretty.

Just what I was looking for. Looks nice. I love that I can now get a nice breeze through my front door without compromising security. The other thing that's really awesome about this door is that I can see out but nobody can see in! I tested this out with my dad and he got his nose all the way up to the screen and I could barely even see he was there. The dogs love it too. I would definitely purchase this again.

Love my new screen. Heavy duty and looks appealing from the curb. It's loud when the door shuts ..otherwise thumbs up...

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by RED This is a nice door, however...
We chose this door because it's very nice looking. However, we had it installed by the people Home Depot contracts with. We were a little concerned that instead of shimming with pieces of wood to fill the gap between the frame and door, they used screws. We have a gap instead of a flush install. Also, we noticed after the install that the door doesn't fit flush near the top. We had the installer come back and he said he was sorry he didn't notice the door was warped before he installed it. Great. We weren't sure how much of a problem we would have to have it removed and replaced, so we kept it.
In addition, it took 5 calls to home depot, including the manager, over a week to get the person back out to check on the install. Apparently, installing the door using screws instead of wood shims is an ok install as far as home depot is concerned. Oh, by the way, the installer left us a tube of caulk to fill in the gaps. Swell.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by BadDiver Powder Coat --- Door covered in rust!
We purchased this security door in July of 2012. Because we live 1/2 mile from the beach we were careful to purchase a powder-coated door, in hopes of avoiding ending up with a rusty door. We live on the 4th floor of our complex, and the door is installed on an easterly facing door set well back into the alcove, where it receives no direct rain. Within a few months spots of rust began to appear, which we quickly touched up with a rustoleum paint. Now less than 2 years later, a large portion of the door is covered in rust, forcing us to have to re-paint the entire door. Not happy that in such a short time the door is awful to look at.
Regarding the installation, we paid to have the Home Depot installer put in the door, which he did quite quickly. However, it never really fit quite right, with a large gap at the top and on the sides, which we have tried to remedy by installing foam tape to make it fit a little better and not rattle so much when closing.
Other than that, in the beginning the door was quite attractive and sturdy, giving us an extra level of protection and the ability to have the breeze blow through. Seems like it should have resisted the rust for more than just a little over a year, though.
So ... if you live in a humid environment or anywhere near the coast --- beware. I would not recommend this door (unless you don't mind re-painting it every year).
