Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 38 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great compact multi ladder The small size and light weight make this easy to use on top of my roof for chimney cleaning. I must climb another ladder to get up on roof so this ladder is easy to lift with me. If you need to make scaffold bases you do not need more parts, it has all you need for this built into the ladder. Home Depot shipped this to me fast and on time. Price was fair and reasonable shipping charge! Overall I am very pleased with my purchase. March 8, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Light and easy to use - I bought two I saw and bought my first adjustable ladder (a PAL - Professional Adjustable Ladder brand) at a home show 25 years ago. It was innovative, very versatile, it's gotten a lot of use, and I've loved it. Last year, I needed a second ladder and bought this Werner ladder on sale at Home Depot. It is noticeably lighter and easier to use. My old ladder (like some others on the market) has three sets of spring-loaded hinges for changing the angle of its sections and requires a lot of space to reconfigure. The new ladder has just one set of latches in the middle for changing the angle, plus two sections that telescope to make it taller. The PAL was more flexible, because you can shape it like an A, I, inverted L, or M (I may be forgetting a shape), but in 25 years, I rarely used more than the A and I shapes. The A and I shapes are easier to do with the Werner, plus you can configure it as two As (the M shape) if needed for use as saw horses or for a scaffold. The Werner design goes easily from its most compact configuration to a 6 ft A-frame ladder while the older design takes a lot of work and work area to reconfigure from storage to useful. This model of the Werner is rated for 225 pounds, which works for me, and I don't want to mess with a heavier ladder. My old ladder is probably heavier primarily because it's rated for more weight, but if I needed a 300 pound-capacity ladder, I'd consider buying another model from Werner. I liked this ladder so much that I recently bought a second one just like it and gave the older/heavier one to our son. This Werner ladder gets top marks for Quality. I also gave it top marks for Value, but admit that rating was influenced by me getting both of them at sale prices from Home Depot. August 2, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Ladder just the wrong size.. I misunderstood that it's a 13 ft. extension (telescoping) not a 13 ft. a-frame. We have 15 ft. ceilings that need work. However, decidedly we're keeping it for it's compact mobility, there are few other smaller projects it can be used for & hopefully will prove helpful in setting up our rigs at rural area events. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 2nd To Best Ladder (In a Pinch) Excellent ladder for multi-positions especially in the stairwells. Telescoping legs helps in tight areas and easy storage... March 8, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best choice for portability I looked at the other ladders, all were a little oversized for the trunk of my wife's car. I wanted the most compact storing ladder available-that could also get me on a roof regularly, as I inspect a lot of roofs. I also didn't want to be lugging extra weight around unnecessarily. If this is your goal- buy this ladder with confidence. If you are a large, heavy person, then you might consider something more heavy duty. I haven't used the ladder for scaffolding yet- but it does have that capability as well. The interesting thing about this ladder is it can only be purchased here! It isn't even listed at the manufacturers website. Go figure? May 19, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by a great, little, glorified step ladder! light weight, easy to store, very handy. This is not a heavy duty ladder, Think of this ladder as 'the little engine that could'. If you need a heavy duty ladder buy a heavy duty ladder. October 6, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by not a 13 foot ladder NIce ladder. Lightweight, esy to manipulate, strong. But it under 11' long when fully extended. A six foot step ladder is six feet tall. A ladder advertised as 13' long should be 13' long. September 3, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Versatile, well-built, competitive price I was initially drawn to this ladder due to its price point...cheaper than other comparable ladders. Aside from price, I am very pleased with the quality and versatility of this ladder. The moving parts used to adjust the position and height of the ladder seem sturdy. The rubber feet also seem durable. Overall, a great product that adapts to the job you are using the ladder for, and folds away nicely for storage. June 18, 2015
