Mayber there is a formula for calculating the height needed to cover how far you should pull away from wall for a safe slant, etc. My guess is probably 24' ladder would let me slant it adequately plus extend a bit past the gutter.

TIA for any info.

Answer:
To reach a 19' gutter we would recommend either our D6224-2, maximum reach of this ladder is 23' with the height to gutter or top support being 13' - 17'. Or our 28' D6228-2, maximum reach 27', height to gutter or top support 17' - 21'.

Quick-Click Ladder Stabilizer is only designed for vertical surfaces, so any ideas that would work with this model ladder would be appreciated

Answer:
For this application we would recommend our AC78 stabilizer, however it will need to be used against a vertical surface.

Which is better and why, aluminum or fiberglass. I'm going to do siding and facia on my 2 story house.

Answer:
This would depend on personal preference, our aluminum models are more lightweight and easier to handle apposed to the fiberglass. Fiberglass models are better when working around any sort of electrical wiring, as the aluminum can conduct electricity.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice ladder. I an constantly up and down telephone poles in my profession and when you are toting a ladder on your shoulder up hills and through the woods, weight matters! This thing is super light and easy to handle. My last ladder weighed twice as much and I have no idea why because this thing doesn't flex much and hold my 220lb self just fine. Highly suggested. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Werner quality Own many different sizes and types of Werner ladders and happy with all of the purchases. I use this particular ladder for painting 2 story houses. September 21, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome ladder I purchased this ladder to clean my gutters on my second story home. I am a big guy (6'4" 270 lbs) and felt very comfortable and stable on this ladder even when fully extended to the 27 ft. July 28, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome Ladder! Purchased this ladder to help with reaching the 2nd story on my split level ranch. Had more than enough height and the ladder always felt sturdy even on grass and un-level concrete sidewalk. It's tough to move around by yourself when it's extended, but overall it's a great ladder. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best price Having purchased this ladder before in the years past I have always come to Home Depot for new ones to replace the old ones get long years out of the ladder's service April 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great stable ladder I have this ladder with a Werner levelok on both legs. I also have the Werner Stablizer on top. I love this setup. I have a 2 story walkout basement house. Both sides of my house slop, so I need the levelers. I have to say, I'm not a fan of heights, and I have no problem getting up high on this ladder. It is very sturdy and stable. It allows me to feel almost too confident. I have to say, I think the levelok levelers with their wider stance and the Stabilizer bar help a ton. The ladder is a bit to manage due to its size and weight, but so far I've been able to manage myself with little problems. I would recommend this ladder for sure, if you need to get up this high. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works great, like it's supposed to. The ladder raises and lowers easily, and the 28 foot length is just about perfect for most applications. It wasn't easy, but I was able to lift it off the top of my Tahoe by myself when we brought it home from the store, so yes, it can be carried and maneuvered by one tall, 50+ year old woman(although I don't recommend it). We used it to install security cameras on the second story exterior of our home. November 11, 2014
