Werner lists the shipping weight at 71.5 lbs. Will likely be a little less due to packaging, but that gets you in the ballpark.

Answer:
Buy aluminum. Aluminum holds up better outside. Fiberglass goes bad outside because of the ultraviolet rays from the sun. Takes a few years.

Buy the fiberglass. It is more sturdy and for only a few dollars more, it is worth the money and worth your life when you are up high.

Answer:
This would depend on personal preference, our aluminum models are more lightweight and easier to handle apposed to the fiberglass. Fiberglass models are better when working around any sort of electrical wiring, as the aluminum can conduct electricity.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great ladder This ladder is very sturdy and well built. Don't waste your money on a cheaper ladder because a ladder like this will do all you need it to do and be safe. August 30, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Well made but very heavy Extremely well made but very heavy. My workers had a hard time moving it arround. July 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by In time of need I had a 24" ladder but got on a job site and found out I need a taller ladder, I knew before hand that some day I was going to need it, so I didn't want to sacrifice my safety and purchased the 32" ladder, I am pleased with it, just wish the job cost would have paid for the ladder. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great tall ladder for cleaning leaves out of the gutters This ladder was light weight and easy to extend, making it most helpful to use to clen out the gutters on my properties. November 10, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Did everything it advertised Needed a ladder for general home maintenance without worrying about load weights when carrying tools or supplies. This ladder gives me that reassurance. It is a bit cumbersome and a little tricky to put up solo by practice will help with that. July 21, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Solid ladder Purchased this ladder for our first home. We have a raised ranch, so we only have a second-story roof line. The ladder has been great so far. It is obviously a bit heavy, being 32 feet long, but I am still able to carry it around by myself as required. I am able to lift it up over my head to hang it onto the wall of our garage as well, though I doubt everyone could manage that by themselves. We were able to bring it home inside of our Ford Flex. It hung several feet out the back end, but we did not have far to drive. Reading reviews elsewhere, I did not trust having it delivered and being damaged. Quality has been very good thus far, as one would hope with an expensive ladder. I would purchase definitely purchase this again. December 10, 2014
