This door serves the purpose we needed by allowing us to be able to open the main door and allow a cross breeze through our house. Nice door for the price.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by Tish Door is very warped
The non-secure "security door" is very warped. The warp begins at 10" from the bottom measuring 2/16" of an inch wide from frame to door edge and increases as you go up to the top to 1/2"-inch. Neither the deadbolt or doorknob bolt will slide into the strike-plates to lock. Even when pushing on the door, the doorknob bolt will not lock properly. The door also buckles when it is opened completely. The installers one being a former welder stated the weld spots caused buckling preventing a flush against the frame closure. Along with the first debacle miss-order and 6 week wait for the first door, this "corrected" order and delay from the manufacturer, Unique Home Designs greatly failed on encouraging return customer, but will definitely get a word-of-mouth DO NOT BUY review. We are contacting them for the warranty on manufacturer defects. Two words for this Arcada style "security" door MANUFACTURER DEFECT!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Adam13 Looks great and Functions great
This was a great value since we needed an 8 foot door. It was not the easiest to install, not because of the door, but because of my existing door jamb. But once it was up, it looks great and allows us to keep the front door open in order to get a great cross breeze flowing.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by SDNative PLEASE READ ALL THE POOR REVIEWS BEFORE BUYING THIS PRODUCT
Why oh why did I not listen to the other reviewers :( I really wanted to like this door... It's beautiful, the design is perfect, and so is the price. And I figured I would be able to tell if it was warped. Well I could not, until it was installed and it wouldnât close. The top part hit's 1.5" before the bottom so it won't close unless we force it shut and even so, the deadbolt won't latch. Because it's a security door, it's made to be nearly impossible to remove from your house. Lovely. Home depot sells a special tool to back off the one way screws but alas it doesnât work. 0 for 2. We've spent nearly 5 hours on this thing which is useless and permanently affixed to our home. I've called home depot twice (both the 800# and the store) for a recommendation but haven't been able to get ahold of anyone who could offer a solution. Kicking myself for not heeding the warnings of the other reviewers on here.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by REALPRODUCTREVIEW Heed the Warning. Warped Door. Will not lock.
********************* WARNING ***********************
I made the mistake of disregarding the other reviews about the warped door. For that, I truly apologize to the reviewer and to myself. I installed this door, with the one-way bolts provided, only to find out the door was warped out in the middle so badly that the deadbolt WOULD NOT CLOSE.
(Just to make sure you get this. I just installed a non-removable security door to my house, and then found out that the door was too warped to close or lock.)
I had to take a car jack and chain to bend the door straighter, and then use my grinder to cut a third of the deadbolt off (lengthwise) just to close. It took 5 additional hours of trying to correct a defective product and now I have a chop job on my home.
I CANNOT AND DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOOR.
HOWEVER, IF YOU DECIDE YOU WANT TO BUY IT, DO NOT INSTALL THE DOOR UNLESS YOU HAVE THOROUGHLY CHECKED THAT IT IS SQUARE FROM TOP TO BOTTOM, RIGHT THROUGH THE DEADBOLT. IF YOU DON'T, YOU WILL BE ONE FRUSTRATED, ANGRY CUSTOMER. THIS PRODUCT SHOWS NO QUALITY CONTROL.
