A Note From The Home Depot
The Holidays are the best time of year for hosting and bringing our loved ones together to celebrate. Read to see how Amanda of Fashionable Hostess used pieces from The Home Depot to create a beautiful tablescape with gold accents for hosting her family for Hanukkah.
A Hanukkah Table that Glows in Gold
We are celebrating the first night of Hanukkah, so today I wanted to share a beautiful tablescape I set up for our family, using pieces I found at The Home Depot. Hanukkah is always such a special time of year when we gather around the dinner table with our whole family enjoying latkes and laughs, followed by a super fun game of "Hanukkah Harry" (our version of Secret Santa!) so I always want my table to be special and memorable for the celebration.
I was blown away by the home decor selection at The Home Depot! They have everything you need for your holiday table setups, like thismetallic woven table runner and gold dinnerware. They can be used over the holidays as well as all year round.
Since I love golds, I immediately chose the Gibson Home Premier Gold Fine Ceramic 12-Piece Dinnerware Set which looks fancy enough for the holidays but is also durable for everyday use, and best of all, is microwave safe for easy reheating. The set includes four dinner plates, four dessert plates, and four bowls.
In the center of my table, I created a "DIY menorah" using eight battery-operated candles (each representing a candle for the night of Hanukkah). I placed them at varying heights on top of a longgold tray. I love theModern White Slender Pillar LED Candle sets of battery-operated candles. These candles have a flickering LED flame that resembles a real candle, making them look realistic without the worry of an open flame. Their candles work with a remote control or with a timer. I set mine to turn on every night for 4 hours from 7-11 pm, giving my house that beautiful glow come dinner time. I use the remote for parties or other holiday gatherings to turn them on longer, so they shine bright until the last guest leaves. The tray could also be used as a pretty accent piece on your coffee table or serving hors d'oeurves, so it's very multi-functional.
Wishing you a Happy Hanukkah!
