Q:Anyone else having issue w/ the .095 Milwaukee line twisting and ceasing to feed due to this? I am only loading in 15' of line so it's not over loaded. Two different types of line do this same thing.

A: I haven’t had this problem since I started loading properly. I used the faint images on the spool to guide my installation and the problem went away. Hope this helps

A:Â I never have had an issue, however I only use about 6ft at a time. I cut off 3 6 ft pieces. One is loaded and the other 2 I put in my pocket. I can usually do my whole yard with 1-2 pieces.

A:Â I use this trimmer line in my Milwaukee Cordless Trimmer. The only time It ceased on me was when I loaded the line the old fashioned way, which was removing the trimmer head and wrapping the line myself. after that I started winding as instructed by the manual and never had a problem since while loading 20 to 25 feet of line at a time.

Answer This Question
A:Â Since I don't own a Milwaukee trimmer I will have to refer you to you tube and search it there, I am sure there will be a video on how to reload the trimmer line.

A:Â Depends on the trimmer. Milwaukee trimmers are the easiest on the planet. Pull 3wingspans (both your arms stretched out) of line and cut. Line up the red marks on the trimmer head , remove any old line then run you new line through the trimmer head. Make sure both sides are equal then crank the line into the head and your ready to go!

A:Â IT depends on what brand of trimmer your putting it on. If you search on you tube. Enter the name of your manufacturer followed by "trimmer line replacement" and you will find a plethora of tutorials. Keep in mind this is a thick line, it won't work in many trimmers

Answer This Question
A:Â Hello! The amount you can put in your trimmer head depends on your trimmer head. However, for reference, our Easy Load Trimmer Head (49-16-2714) holds 20' of .0965 trimmer line.

great for refilling my trimmer
Great trimmer line for refilling a milwaukee trimmer. Line holds up decently to the abuse I dishout on it when trimming out the lawn and weeds on the driveway. Loads up easily and comes in its own great storage container.

I purchased the new Milwaukee Trimmer this summer to my hearts delight. While that tool is wonderful I think that any trimmer line will work fine. This is fine quality and works as designed. The only issue is with any trimmer that uses a dual feeder\dual line. Pros are that you have a double cutting power and it is cuts the first time you pass. Cons are that you have to take your time to reload the trimmer which is tedious but required if you want it to work right and properly self feed as you trim. To me it is worth it and I really like the trimmer and related line.

This line seems to be very tough, I put a piece in my vice and bent it back and forth in an effort to make it work harden, weaken and break and I gave up. This line is much better than standard trimmer line. Trying to bend this by hand is very difficult (see photo). Once you release pressure it snaps straight. It cuts very well too, I put it to test on some tall Oregon Bunch Grass and it cuts it so much better than regular trimmer line. Bunch Grass is very tough, it will easily slice skin.
This line is going to save you time and I think money in the long run. You sure won't need to be tapping all the time and installing new line.
Virtually indestructible - you have to try this stuff
Living in So Cal we have to keep our one acre property compliant with the local fire department's brush clearance requirements which normally means that we spend a whole morning trimming up the long grass and weeds with a couple of weed whackers. I have to admit that I am very impressed with the durability of this new Milwaukee trimmer line as I managed to get the whole yard trimmed up in about an hour while using less than one spool of line from the trimmer head. This stuff is incredibly heavy duty and 250' is going to last a while - I expect that it will last as long as a 3lb spool of the orange serrated trimmer line we normally buy but for about 30% less cost.
The first thing I noticed is that despite being the same 0.95" diameter as the 0.95" serrated orange line we normally use, this line is easier to wind onto the trimmer spool head. I didn't have to fight it as much and it seemed that the trimmer spool has more capacity when using this line. The packaging also has a pair of small holes drilled into it which makes it very convenient to take the fresh line you need and then secure the remaining line without it turning into a bird's nest of a tangled line.
When I said this stuff was durable, I meant it - when I first wound the line onto the trimmer head, I had a piece of around 12" coming out of one of the spool holes and try as I might, I couldn't get the trimmer to spin quickly enough to trim the excess line off as the line was so strong it was choking the engine up. I actually had to stop the trimmer and cut off the excess line with a knife!
I was able to go through three tanks of gas and still had line left on the original spool when I was done. Where it would have taken us both a couple of hours working in different parts of the yard to get the brush clearance done, I was done in about two hours and worked alone (much to my wife's relief). When the line comes into contact with grass (short or long), it is no competition and I found I could run the weed whacker at less than full throttle and still 'git er done'. When the line hits fallen tree branches, it doesn't fray like the orange line does and it handles thicker brush like sage or fox gloves with ease, so there is less time spent bumping the trimmer head to advance more line. Since I was able to get the while 1 acre yard done on less than a spool, I also saved a ton of time in not having to stop and re-spool fresh line.
You have to try this stuff as it is pretty impressive.
