Space it will heat on high

Awesome TV stand
I am a 74 year old female and was able to put this together easily because the instructions were easy to follow and all the parts came in the package. Our 70 inch TV fits perfectly on it. We wanted a fireplace but did not have room for one so this was the perfect solution. I would definitely recommend this product. The glow from the “flame” is beautiful and you can use it with heat or without. Love it!

Pretty good
Overall this unit seems pretty good and sturdy. My only concern is that the fireplace is making a strange noise! It sounds like something inside needs to be greased. I’ve tried only the flames and the noise doesn’t stop. I’ll be reaching out to see if they can send me a different fireplace as I’m afraid it’ll only get louder and eventually quit working!

This thing is a beast! You could probably drop it off the roof and it would be fine. It is one of the most solid pieces of furniture we've ever assembled. If you have no experience assembling furniture do not attempt this one, or it will take you all day. We have assembled probably a dozen products over the past ten years and it still took over 2 hours with both of us working on it due to the fact that their are no directions, only assembly drawings (schematics). But, for us, it was worth it. Like I said, this thing is rock solid and the giant fireplace with realistic logs looks awesome. For reference, the TV we put on top of this is a big 70" Samsung. The feet of the TV sit about 3" front the front and back edge of the table and about 6" from each side. So I would not try to put anything bigger than a 70 on this thing just for that reason. Not because of the weight. You could have 4 people stand on this thing and it would be fine. It's extremely sturdy!

This item will come in 2 boxes. One is the fireplace insert. Before you even think of opening the big box you must open and test the fireplace insert. Test all features and listen for sounds such as clicking.
I made the mistake of putting the big box (TV stand) first. I saw comments on another site (Not Home Depo) where someone had clicking sounds and the store responded by saying "no problem we will send you a new fireplace box". So I was not expecting there to be the issues or response I received from HD.
But when I put the full stand and fireplace together and tested, sure enough, I had an annoying tick every 5 seconds or so. So I wrote HD customer service. Their response was to submit for a refund and send it back. The whole thing! Not just the 1 box with the fireplace unit. I pushed for them to do the same thing as I noted on another site and they said no. Insanely ridiculous. It took 2 hours to put together and they expected me to rebuild a second one.
I finally just opened up the fireplace box and fixed it.
My advice. Never buy furniture of this type from Home Depot. I actually bought it from Home Depot vs any of the many other sites because I thought HD would be the better customer service experience.
The product itself. Great quality and design all around.

Overall good construction. On one side of the base the wooden pegs didn’t line up with the predrilled holes. The motor turning the flames makes some noise. Ok if I have music on. On sale at a good price.
Would purchase again. Hopefully will heat our living room this winter.
