About This Product

Crown of thorns euphorbia impresses with its numerous clusters of colorful flower bracts and versatility, adaptable as a houseplant, patio plant, or garden plant. The plant's compact form allows it to slide into garden beds or other smaller spaces where larger shrubs won't do. Whether you're looking to enhance your indoor oasis, create a vibrant patio display, or revamp your garden with drought-tolerant plants, this strikingly elegant live succulent shrub is an excellent choice symbolizing strength, resilience, and adaptability. This variety of Euphorbia milii abounds with pretty pink bracts for most of the year in mild climates. The bracts cup the true flowers, which are small and form on branch tips. The plant's thick woody stems are adorned with sharp spines that lend it a rose bush-like appearance. The bright green leaves are spirally arranged on each stem, dropping off as the stems mature. Crown of thorns tolerates a range of lighting, making it suitable for both sunny spots and partially shaded areas. This plant stores water in its thick stems, allowing it to withstand dry spells. The low-maintenance beauty is known for its natural resistance to common garden pests, making it a hassle-free addition to your green haven. Handle with care, as crown of thorns will ooze a caustic white sap when injured. Wash well with soapy water immediately if you come into contact with the sap.

    Flower color not as advertised
I received a Euphorbia Milii plant in a 4.25" pot, ordered on Nov. 30, 2023 and received on Dec. 7, 2023, it was a sturdy, clean, well potted plant, with healthy foliage for the exception of a few brown and torn leaves due to the cold and shipping, no flowers as yet, that's ok, my disappointment, the flower color does not resemble the advertised flower, the flowers are a sad pale, pale pink, almost white, I include photos on this 6th day of March 2024, 3 months later.

It had to be returned as it was was poorly packed for shipping just wrapped in paper and a stick that failed to keep it from getting crunched to one end of box. Made me sad to return it, but the leaves and flowers were broken.
