This camera/garage door controller was easy to install with the magnetic base and simple installation guide to follow so I gave it 2 stars for that.
The motion detection is too sensitive and I would wake up to lots of videos of floating dust. The sensitivity is adjustable, and was on the lowest setting, but this didn't matter. The motion detection can be turned off, but that defeats the purpose of having the camera. There is no way to set zones to monitor so the entire view susceptible to false alarms.
The preview of events was very slow to load so I had to open most of the events to see it was just dust again.
I ended up purchasing a camera with motion, infrared, and sound from the same manufacturer as my door camera, along with a garage door monitor/controller from another manufacturer. I now have 2 devices but both do an excellent job at their own task and am pleased. I would not recommend this item until they fixed their camera shortcomings.
