Q:I need to remove a bathroom faucet handle and replace it with the same one (Part M916803-0020A Colony Soft Widespread Lavatory Faucet Handle). It didn't come with instructions and I can't find them online. I removed the screw. What next? Doesn't lift off

Not the same part
Ordered this part based off the model number on the original instructions received when the faucet was purchased. I called American Standard and discussed with them what part I needed prior to ordering this handle from Home Depot. The part I received was not the same part I was trying to replace, and the handle with the original faucet was not all metal as this one that was ordered was. Also, the part I received does not fit as a replacement to the plastic handle coated in chrome that I was trying to replace.

This crome plated handle replace a crome plated plastic handle. It was the only replacement I could find.
