how do I use the Ames Action Hoe?

Hand it it a grip with r strong hand at the top. Use other hand for bottom support.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Made in China! Gotta love the Ames video link that shows you hardworking Americans making Ames tools since 1774. Even their motto “the tools that built America “ is false because I bought a garden hoe thinking it was made in the USA but stamped very clearly in the steel blade it says CHINA! I would love to post a photo to prove it but there is no upload link. Giving it a 1 star because false promotional claims. I hate being lied to.

When I purchased, I was in a hurry... rushed in, purchased the hoe, and left. After I got home, I realized they had used really low quality metal, the hoe was NOT sharpened, and the handle was not even sanded down smooth. This was the only brand they carried. Next garden tool I need, will NOT be purchased at HOME DEPOT!

Considering the options were slim at my local home depot and this was one of two hoes available (both cheaply made), I decided to try it out. After about fifteen minutes of hoeing, the blade became loose and then completely came off shortly after. Would not recommend for someone who is going do be doing some serious hoeing.
