If you use it the way it comes with the plug no electrician needed at all You just plug it in and it’s good to go!
The dimensions are 80 inches depth, 31 inches height and 56.1 inches width.
there are two 'versions' of this spa, one that cannot be converted, and one that can, which is generally specified with a 'p' after the model number - I have a 120v 15amp GFCI version, which works just fine and don't really see any need to have to 'convert' it to 240v, even if I could. A 240v version simply allows the initial heating to happen quicker, since it's using 'twice' as much power to the heater during that time, but otherwise, for everyday usage, you'll not see any need for 240v service.... just plug it into an outlet and let it do it's work! Easy!
There is a short hose with a hose fitting on it for draining the spa. We have had ours in zero degree weather here in eastern WA and it works like a champ.
No. It is not recommended for placing this in the basement. It's for outdoor use only.
Please do not use salt on your spa. The spa is not built for salt not Epsom. In fact using any of these will completely void your warranty.
