About This Product

The BOGS Diamondback puncture-proof camo hunting boot is the lightest weight snake boot on the market. Completely waterproof with a non-slip, non-marking and self-cleaning BioGrip hunting outsole that gives you maximum traction with the ground, and washes clean with just a spray of the hose. The BOGS Max-Wick lining pulls sweat away from your feet, keeping them dry and comfortable, which can often be the biggest challenge. Keep your boots free from odor-causing bacteria with BOGS DuraFresh bio-technology, while scent-free rubber provides that added advantage in the field. The upper reaches high so you can wade through creeks and push through heavy underbrush without a second thought. No matter the conditions, your feet will be dry, comfortable and snake proof in your BOGS Diamondback puncture-proof camo boots.

nice boot but hard to get on
Bought these boots for my daughter in law to replace her Bogs Buckman boots(a now discontinued model)as the all rubber shaft proves to be more durable than neoprene for farming. The boots looked great but were very difficult to get on, Perhaps they would fit some one without a high instep. We returned them and found the old Buckman model at another store.

    Maybe order a size larger
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've got 4 different pairs of bogs. I love them all but the Diamondbacks are stiff and difficult to slip in and out of. I hope they loosen up. My rancher classics are super comfortable but aren't snake proof.

    Best Snakeboot I Have Found
I bought these boots for hunting. Unfortunately, it is impossible to buy a rubber boot that is waterproof and not really hot. These are great when the weather is cooler, but they can get hot hunting hogs in the summer. These are the best snake boots I have ever owned.

      copperhead boot was the best
I've only had them a month and the sole is coming off. The color is worn off. The copperhead boot was a great boot. They quit making the copperhead. Not happy with this at all.

        Great boot so far
After measuring my foot on a foot measuring tool, I determined that I have a true size 10 1/2 foot and being on the narrow side with a skinny heel. I decided to buy a size 11 and am glad I did! After I received them, I put in a thick flat insole(1/4 inch) under the original to take up some room in the boot. I did this so in the winter I can remove the thick insole and have room for a much heaver sock. After doing this, they fit perfect and snugged up the heel. After reading the other comments about the zipper, I was a little concerned. The zipper is a pain at first but... There is a rubber flap with cut out notches at the top that covers the zipper that the zipper pull gets caught on when unzipping. If you play with the flap for a while and break it in and also keep it in mind when you unzip the boot( and kind of train it), it works well after some use. Other than that, they are awesome boots, much lighter than my other hunting boots, have great grip for hiking up and down the hills of PA, and my feet have gotten all sweaty and slippery in them yet.

          Great Boots, Zipper need help.
The boot are constructed get, could use a little give above the heal as the zipper is extremely hard and sometimes doesn't work at all. Should be easier to operate and have method of lubricating.

          Getting them on and off
These boots feel good when I can get them on my feet and during the long walks I have made. I have have wore them 3 times and they wore huge blisters on both heals. I ordered them in a 10 which Is what my shoes are and they do feel good for a while. The heals are to hard and there is zero give when trying to get your foot in or out!! It would be nice if the heal plate was a bit shorter or less rigid like some other boots. LaCrosse, Mocks ,etc. has these boots beat on this part.
