Answer This Question
A: The mounting plate for the RA1141 router table is drilled to accept a variety of manufacture routers. Spacing on pattern A is approximately 60mm. We have tested compatibility with the following routers (*Other manufacturers' routers are outside of Bosch's control. Changes made to these routers may affect the compatibility to the fasteners specified and/or supplied with this table). Bosch (1617 series & MRC series), Craftsman (17508, 17542, 26620, 17533, 17528, 17511, 26834, 28190, 73277, 17541), DeWalt (DW616, DW618 fixed base only), Hitachi (M12VC), Makita (RF1100, RF1101), Milwaukee (5615, 5616), Porter Cable (690 series, 7529 plunge router, and 892-895 series fixed base only), Ryobi (163K), Skil (1810, 1815, 1820, 1825). This is a fantastic and very versatile router with plunge base. The design seems to have focused on making every little aspect of either the router, the fixed or the plunge base very controlled and precise. The handles are wide and comfortable for prolonged work, and variable speed is has enough spread between 8-25k rpm to work with range of wood from soft to hard woods. I needed the router type that can work with both 1/4 and 1/2 collet without having to buy an adapter. At 14 amp (1700 Watts) motor and top RPMs it leaves nice, clean, razor-sharp edges and cuts even on the hardest types of wood.
It is definitely worth buying a router table with it, as it expands the functionality of the tool tremendously.
I loved every aspect of the tool, the built quality is superb, with high level of precision and materials used.

Great Router Table, perfect size and easy to adjust. Quick release is very handy. I mounted this to a rolling table and added a foot switch. Bought the Bosch router too and very pleased with both. It does fold up quickly and pretty compact if you want to store it.

Garbage Router Table
This is a terrible router table. The insert plate is of an atypical size, which disallows the use of any upgraded insert plate. Be warned, if you buy this router table, you will be left with a unit that can't be upgraded. You'll just end up buying a different router table down the line anyway. The router height adjustment that you'll be stuck with, if you purchase this table, works, but not very well. After a long enough time, you'll want a fine adjustment from a different lift, but won't be able to use one because of Bosch's crappy design. Good luck finding a router plate insert that's 11-3/8" wide! DON'T BUY THIS ROUTER TABLE!! Fun fact: Bosch deleted my review from their website; I'm guessing because they don't want people knowing this gigantic flaw in their product. I think people should know this prior to purchasing, as it matters a LOT to the consumer.

I have a SMALL shop and thought I didn't have room for a router table. I was wrong. This portable router table is just the thing for a small shop or a woodworker on the go. It collapses small enough to store in a wall cabinet in your garage or under your work bench. The top is big enough for the majority of tasks you need a router table for and has some well though out features like small parts storage in the legs, tabbed feet for easy clamping to your work surface, access for the included hex key to raise your bit without trying to look under the router table and dust collection that really works.
It comes with most of the accessories your table needs like an assortment of throat rings, TWO feather boards, and a hex key with a good sized handle for raising/lowering your bit. I did find the plastic bit height indicator to be a little on the cheap side, but accurate enough for rough bit height adjustment (I fine tune with my calipers or machinist blocks). Likewise, the miter gauge is plastic, but good enough for guiding your work piece past the bit (I use a protractor to set the angle with the t-track slot).
Mounting your router is easy...once you attach the provided plate to the base of your router. It is easy to change bits without having to remove your router as there is plenty or room below the tabletop and a wide enough hole with the throat rings removed to access your chuck with your wrenches.
My shop vac connects to the dust collection port on the fence with no adapters needed AND it really works well to keep the table top clear. You will still get a lot of "man glitter" (wood dust) under the top and on your router.
The handy front mounted safety switch makes it easy to start/stop your router and there is a spare outlet for connecting your shop vac.
I’m not sure why anyone has an issue with this product. It has performed well beynd my expectations. You will NOT be disappointeded!!

Nice, Sturdy router table that is storable and portable too!
With the need to clear room in my workshop, and to be able to have a router table that is truly transportable, this Bosch table is a gift from above. It folds up very nicely and easily, with storage in the pockets/bins that are part of the legs. Relatively easy and quick to put together (there are a lot of parts when you first open it), it has been able to do everything I have asked of it. The storage bins in each leg are a nice touch; these wind up being a great place to store throat plates, a screwdriver, shim plates, etc. Nothing worse that getting to where you are going to find out that you left the throat plates at home; this solves that. I suppose you could store router bits in them but I would not put them in loose. The featherboards do not fit well in the storage pockets, but you can pack those with your router.
One really nice addition is the depth gauge; it makes measuring the bit height very easy. Granted, it is not super accurate but is plenty good enough for my purposes. The featherboards are mad of a hard plastic and do not have much give in them, but this is good and you really do not want your workpiece to be able to move backward.
Great manual; one of the best and clearest I have seen. Do check to be sure your router will work with the table. I will eventually get a cordless router to dedicate to this table. The Easy Click router mount is very nice and is quick and easy to use, providing the simplest hookup arrangement I have ever seen.
My complaint is it is made of a LOT of plastic; this is nice for weight and transportability but how it will hold up over time is still to be determined. I suspect with care it will last, as the plastic is not that cheap, thin stuff, but what will happen when solvent gets on it is to be seen. One other drawback is the miter gauge: the numbers are hard to see (no coloring on them so they blend into the gauge) and when the miter gauge is tightened down so it won’t move from your setting, it will not slide easily (if at all) in the track.Thankfully I have not had to use it much.
Overall, for ease of use, storage ability, and transportability this is a very nice table.

This Bosch router table makes it easy to store and transport because of the folding legs, that cuts its size in half. It is quickly and easily set up anywhere, due to the mounting options. You can permanently mount it to a table, a piece of plywood or use clamps to hold it into place. I usually use clamps, and then fold it for storage. The top is smooth and steady, making it easy to keep your piece moving accurately. I especially like the “Easy Click” router mounting system. You mount your router to the mounting plate and then it easily clicks into place under the table. According to how you’ll want to mount your router to the place, you may want to pick up some slightly longer screws than those supplied. There is a handy bit height gauge included, as well as several tabletop inserts. Two featherboards are also included. Everything you need to get started is here, you just supply the router. It works with several different brands, not just Bosch. The instruction manual is one of the best I’ve seen. The drawings and instructions are very clear and easy to understand.

Router table comes in a box with a myriad of pieces, but it took only 30 minutes to identify and position the assortment of pieces.
The connection on the FENCE for exhausting the wood scraps to a vacuum makes the cleanup so much easier when using the table indoors.
The Laminated top has depth reading on both sides of the fence to allow for easier alignment for the cutting. Great idea that it is below the Formica, not on top.
The miter gauge assembly does not have a fixed setting, the only clamp force the miter to remain stationary within the groove not slide easily.
Had some issues connecting the router to the table, but instructions were helpful. I used spacers to fill the gap between the mounting plate and the router (25 year old router).
The dual electric outlet allows for adding the vacuum to the same switch as the router, easier to start / stop operations.
This is a small table so it fits quite well in a pickup or van, and stores easily on a 12" shelf.

This Bosch RA1141 is a must-have for any woodworker. It is portable with folding, locking legs and storage built in. It is fully equipped with all components a larger stationary table would have (included). It has a quick click release mounting plate that is compatible with 9 different name brand routers. Adjustable fence with dust port and featherboards. Power switch with removable lockout key and circuit reset button. Easily assembled and light weight. Comprehensive instruction booklet. Bosch has thought of it all.

Bosch 26 in. x 16.5 in. Laminated MDF Top Portable Jobsite Router Table is a variation of their popular aluminum top router table. They replaced the aluminum table top with MDF and added retractable folding legs to make transport and storage easier. My first impression is this router table has plenty of plastic with an MDF top, any job site environment will not be kind to it.. It weights about 33-pounds without the router. In folding the legs the table is about 9-inches high for carrying with the plastic fence stored with hold-downs in the body. I found it awkward to carry any distance, especially with the router. The table, in my opinion, is less for job-site use, more for working in less demanding places.
Bosch offer several suggestions for setting it up, primarily mounting it on a workbench or on a piece of plywood clamped or screwed to a stand. The table can slide when bumped, I did it, if not held down. I'm using it with my Workmate table, screwed it with wing nuts to an alternate MDF top I made a while ago. The router table is a good one, just needs some extra care.
The router I used is a Hitachi / Metabo fixed router that Bosch listed in their operating manual. It installed easily to the universal router mounting plate that locks / unlocks to the table in order to change out bits or close the legs. Still when changing bits it is a small hassle turning the table on its side to get in the wrenches to work on the collet. I really need to get router offset wrenches. The good point is the MDF table top is flat and level, no problems.
The power supply is two outlets, one for the router and another for the shop vacuum, controlled by a single paddle switch on the front. The paddle doubles as a power lockout key. Every time you pull a power plug out the plastic flexes a little, not encouraging or so it feels. With vibration running the router, I wondered about eventual plastic fatigue.
The featherboards are solid and was a little confused when first encountering the side plates, they are only for use with the table track, not the fence track. They should use standard, same size T-tracks for both tracks instead. The featherboards are good, stay in place when locked down, as is the plastic miter gauge. The two clear plastic guard assemblies over the bit are excellent. I like they are not fixed, but hinge when using them. No so much the tabletop inserts around the bit hole, stick when snapped in, difficult removing.
In conclusion, this is a portable router table and as such, has its limitations. It is compact and takes much less storage space in the garage, has plenty of extras like a split fence to name just one. For those that use it for weekend work, it is just fine. If you take care using it, it will do excellent work.
