HANDS DOWN THE BEST HOLE SAWS AVAILABLE
We drill a lot of two by framing when installing plumbing lines. These Bosch carbide hole saws will cut at least 5 times faster and last 10 times longer than standard bi-metal holes saws. The multiple carbide tips run smooth, cut clean and track well. The center slugs pop out easily. They will eat an occasional nail but a steady diet of nails dulls them noticeably. I have not tried them on concrete or masonry but on wood they do a great job for us.

Attempted to cut a 2 1/4 inch hole in a brick wall. Same worked fine at first but only went about 3/4 of an inch and it practicly stopped cutting. I finshed boring the pilot hole and went to the inside and tried to finish the job but the saw only managed to cut an 1/8 inch deep. I was using a Ryobi cordless drill which by they way with lithium batteries is a real workhorse. So it wasn't a matter of too high RPM. The carbided teeth which they are only four wore down quickley much like a cheap carbide drill bit. A relativley expensive lesson.

Strong, sturdy and accurate cutting.
For a larger hole saw this carbide cutter is strong, sturdy and accurate in many hard woods that I use.

all 3 carbide teeth broke off
I was using the 1 3/4 bit with a DEWALT 1/2 in. VSR Hammer Drill to drill through a brick wall, I got 3 inches in and all 3 teeth of the bit broke off. Very upset with this product right now.
Hopefully this was just a defective unit that i got.
