      A:  Always unplug the Cuisinart Hurricane Pro blender from the electrical outlet before cleaning. Never immerse blender base in water or other liquids. The blender jar, blade assembly and lid assembly are all dishwasher safe. To clean the blender base, wipe the exterior with a soft cloth or sponge dampened with cleaning solution. Do not immerse the base in cleaning solution or water. Wipe with a dry towel and be sure the base is completely dry before using.

        A:  Use the Fruit Smoothie function for most smoothies and drinks. The Green Smoothie function is specifically designed for harder-to-process ingredients, like fibrous leafy greens and fruits with tiny seeds, such as berries. The green smoothie function runs longer 1 minute 30 seconds and can be adjusted for personal preference for more blending of fruits. The unit will blende the berry seeds not sure able pulverize them.

          Super High Power...
          I bought this after oral surgery and I was living on chocolate shakes. Wow, the speed and power is phenomenal. The shakes never need more than 14 seconds to be totally smooth and creamy. When my gums heal, I will probably only need to blend for 10 seconds. Although the cup and cover are dishwasher safe, I have found the "clean" setting on the blender works great, just a good rinsing and let dry. Perfect...highly recommended.

          I had to send it back. Upon first trying it, it started smoking, due to the rubber base pad spinning around the center pad ring. Pieces of rubber started flying off. Scared me to death. I do want to order another one to try again. I think this one was just faulty. But it was expensive even though my money was refunded. Still have to re-budget for another.
