Answer This Question

A:  These have gone down in Quality over the last few years. If your removing the aerator from your facet to screw this on not that they switched to plastic connector and it’s easy to cross thread. I found a long time ago to rotate the part backwards in till it dips on to leading thread. If your remover that to slip it over your facet it would depend on the facet if that will work. Last one I bought the rubber turned very dark in just a few months. Don’t think will buy another one. But it’s time to change the facet anyway. Hope it helps

Does the problem seem to be the threads or the thickness of the washer? We suggest trying to remove the washer and screwing the sprayer on, just to make sure the threads aren’t the issue. On many of the sprayers they have thick washers and it’s sometimes difficult to press the sprayer up against the faucet so the threads can catch.       A:  If you are removing the gray insert to screw it on to your faucet, put a few wraps of teflon tape on the threads of the faucet before installing.

        I buy one of these every 4 or 5 years...
        I buy one of these every 4 or 5 years (as the rubber wears out and leaks. However, this one did not fit the faucet in my garage. Yes, I always remove the gray insert. This one must be a different size, but under the same packaging. I had to return this and look for the exact model that I've been using for many years.

        I have tried to find these in both Tacoma, WA stores (Tacoma Mall Blvd and 6th Ave. Steele street) without success as I have been using them for years. I finally ordered 5 of them online. While waiting for my order, I eventually found one in the 6th Ave store; had to take it back as it leaked. The 5 I ordered leaked as well. Compared to an old one, the newer ones are of a cheaper construction. Looks like I will have to go to plan B (whatever that consists of).

        The rubber is not anchored into the metal sleeve. So if you move the sprayer from side to side to widen the spray area, it pops out and water splatters everywhere. I cannot imagine any manufacturer dumb enough to leave the sprayer unattached. In so doing, he has stiffed the customer. He definitely did not make his Momma proud with this cheap and lazy decision.

        plastic threaded female thread did not fit, very loose fit cannibalized old faucet queen aerator for an operational item. there is nothing special or odd-ball about the laundry room tub spigot.crummy, cheap, pedestrian, common danco aerator. Avoid aggravation obtain another brand.

        Did not fit spigot. The plastic screw on adapter is oversize for the application on mud room sink. There is nothing odd about the fixture. Replacing a Faucet Queen aerator. Removing the adapter from the Faucet Queen and the Danco model then switching the Danco adapter with the old Faucet Queen adapter did the trick. Any seasoned DIY home owner would be able to do this. Save the old parts. waterboy
