Seats and Springs for Valley (2-Pack)

A:  Thank you for contacting Danco. No, these seats & springs fit most kitchen, lavatory, and tub/shower faucets manufactured before October 1986.

A:  Don, yes these should fit your faucet.

A:  Thank you for your interest in Danco products and for your inquiry with our Danco 80686, Seats and Springs for Valley. Generally, we recommend using a silicone based lubricant (nothing petroleum based) on the outer diameter of the rubber seat. That will fill the the area between the rubber seat and water port inlet by allowing it to adhere to the inner wall of the water port inlet. This will the components to stay in the water port inlet and allow you to install the Valley valve stem into the valve body housing easier.

A:  Instructions are printed on packing inside of package. Also check out my instructions on customer reviews.

A:  If your instructions get lost, torn or wet, or if they are too small go to the website online. There is the full instructions and you can make them larger for ease of use

A:  Thank you for contacting Danco. We do not currently have installation instructions regarding installation for seats & springs. Depending on what type of faucet you are installing (kitchen, lavatory or tub/shower faucet) will determine the type of installation you will perform. While they are all similar installations, they can vary and will have their own installation method depending on the faucet. The faucet you are installing and/or fixing should have the installation instructions included with the product.

A:  Best bet - visit the web site for your faucet and find the installation instructions. YouTube has been a great place for instructions as well

A:  Thank you for your inquiry. The white piece goes into one end of the spring, and the rubber seat goes over the other. You will then put this assembly into the inlet port on the faucet, white end first. Then the cartridge goes in.
