A solid transfer shovel
Having the right tool for the job just makes things easier. I decided to tryout this shovel my moving two yards of sand for the baser of our above ground pool. The head of the shovel is nice and deep to hold a good amount of material but not so large that it hold more material than could easily manage. I found the handle to solid and comfortable, I didn't notice any issues while working.

Well Made
DEWALT Fiberglass Handle Transfer Shovel Bundle offer is pretty good. Who knew Dewalt did garden hand tools but they do and they do a very good job. In this case the flat/transfer shovel has a rigid fiberglass handle with the steel head riveted to it. The handle also had what they call a comfort overmold end grip which is surprisingly comfortable in the hand and has a hole for hanging. If that wasn’t enough you also get a 5 tine pitch fork with the same type handle and a durable steel head. Good shovel, Great Deal.

Cheap piece of junk
This shovel is a piece of junk! This thing fell off the tailgate of my truck while I was parked on a jobsite. About a 36" fall to the street and the fiberglass handle broke right off of it. Now I remember why I don't buy anything with the dewalt name on it.

Strong and sturdy shovel. The extra long handle is very useful in getting leverage and the grips are cushioned but not frail (as some cushioned grips are).
