A: Yes, it will.
A: Absolutely. The cutting wings are nicely angled to aid in clearing out the chips.
A: I don't see why not. I love this brand of spade bits. As long as you can keep the drill steady, should be no problem.
A: For the easiest drilling experience through a 4x6 wooden post, I would recommend using an Auger. Our DAG3030 is of similar size as the SpeeDemon. To check it out, just search homedepot.com for Product #DAG3030. The SpeeDemon can get through, but an auger would be easier.
