I really like the results I'm getting with these sanding disks
I only recently started using an orbital sander & I really like the results. I have been using these Diablo sanding disks all along; they seem to hold up well.

Not good for 8 hole sanders
These universal hole pads are OK for sanding outside But the universal hole fit gives you 4 good holes and 4 very small holes. I attach my sander to a shop vac and there is almost no dust when sanding indoors unless you use these pads …then there’s twice as much dust as the equivalent 8 hole sanding pad.. Too bad I purchased the large value pack…

    Easy to use sanding pads!!
You literally slap on the pad to your sander and it’s ready to go!! Using my orbital sander saves me a lot of time and swapping out new sanding discs literally takes a few seconds and I am ready to continue sanding!! I buy these discs in a variety of grits so I can get the fine finish I am looking for before I paint or stain etc.

I'm using this product on a basement remodeling project where I'm enclosing the staircase leading down into my basement with 3/8" plywood beadboard. After I cut the panels to the dimensions needed, I sand them with HD 100-grit on a variable-speed random-orbit sander with dust extraction, then smoothen them with HD 150-grit, then finally with HD 220-grit. This gives a silky-smooth wood surface ready for finishing. After carefully cleaning all sawdust, I liberally coat them with HD clear gloss polyurethane, using a mini sponge roller and backbrushing with a good quality synthetic bristle brush. Allowing generous drying time (recommend a few hours), I sand again lightly with this 320-grit, clean the sawdust, and apply a second coat. The resulting mirror lustre is ultra-smooth to the touch and great protection of the surface for any traffic area.
