If the unit has a charging stand, the charger would plug into the bottom of the base of the stand. If you do not have a charging stand with your unit, then the charger would plug into the back of the main unit near the middle of the back.

I couldn't be happier with this vacuum. It's small and light weight but don't let that fool you. I cannot believe the pick up power it has when it comes to dog hair on tile and wood floors--and tiny bird seed too. I had seen it on a big box site and did some price comparisons elsewhere----the price ranges were crazy. Then I checked Home Depot and the price was the lowest of anyone. When I put it in my cart online, the price dropped even lower. Shipping was free and it arrived faster than expected. I would recommend this vacuum for use by anyone of any age. A child could use it and/or would it be wonderful for an elderly person---it's that light, maneuverable and effective. One of my favorite features is how the head swivels and fits into narrow spaces--but the best is you can put it under the edge of cabinets and the wheels will allow you to pull it sideways to clean under that impossible area. It's light enough to lift up along your baseboards too. The 'duster buster' comes in handy also. Emptying the collection cup it is very easy. This is one GREAT vacuum cleaner! What used to be annoying has now become a breeze!

Good vacuum for light cleaning
ERGORAPIDO LITHIUM ION VACUUM CLEANER is a versatile light duty cordless vacuum cleaner that comes with 2 options. You can use it as a floor vacuum or just with a push of a button use it as a hand held vacuum. The hand held vacuum feature makes it suitable to clean car interiors. The suction power of the vacuum is moderate and normally works well if you use it close to the dirt. It is definitely not a replacement for a traditional vacuum but works well for the smaller jobs.

Great Results for a Lightweight Vacuum
I tried the vacuum on my carpet which is thick and usually covered in dog hair (I have a big dog that sheds a lot). I was surprised at how much it picked up so quickly! It's a compact type of vacuum so I thought it would only get the surface stuff but it really got everything very easily. There is minor assembly require, very minor. You just need to screw in the long handle to the main body. It has an over-sized screw already. It was a little cumbersome to line everything up with no one helping, but it was fine otherwise and you don't have to do it again unless you want to pop it back in the box. Obviously since it is a smaller, lightweight vacuum the storage area for the dirt it small. It was pretty easy to pop out, dump, and pop back in though. Honestly I didn't think my carpet was that dirty, but I was proved wrong quickly. So I'm sure the next time I vacuum it won't fill up as quickly. There is a little filter inside that pops out and can be knocked against a trash can to get the dust out. It's paper based and will eventually need to be replaced when it wears out. The middle section pops out and turns into a small handheld vacuum which is very convenient. I hadn't seen that before and it's the reason I wanted to try out this vacuum. It took a while to charge, but it was a good trade off because the charge lasted longer than others I've used. It also didn't lose suction as the battery eventually drained which is a great feature. It was very easy to maneuver, swiveled nicely to get in corners. There is a extra tool, a little brush item, which I never end up using with vacuums, but it fit nicely on a little holder on the handle. Good touch, and it didn't fall off while I vacuumed. The best part for me was how easy it is to remove the actual vacuum brush on the bottom. The bottom can snap open and you just pop out the brush and can clean it. This was fantastic for me because of all the aforementioned dog hair I had in my carpet.

Just ok
1. Overall first impression: I though this looked like a good machine at first sight. It has the recognized name in vacuums, Electrolux, from the old days. The purpose is good, to provide a light-weight battery-operated vacuum to do daily light cleaning. 2. Design: This cleaner is designed to serve two purposes, to do floor cleaning, carpet or wood or tile, and to provide a way to vacuum the furniture or drapes. The main purpose uses all parts except the extensions. The motor unit is attached to the main unit with a simple snap clip at the top. The floor head is pivot-able in varied direction so it can be angled pretty much any direction, and it rolls easily. The head can be rolled under furniture, if not too low. The motor is fairly quiet and this unfortunately results in a lower level of vacuum (even set to high speed) than a full-sized vacuum cleaner. So much so that this should only be used for light daily cleaning. The main unit can be used either with or without the beater brushes running. Our new wood floor manufacturer specifies that no beater brushes should be used, so I had to make sure that was observed. To do that, I had to switch on the vacuum at the motor unit, far lower than the main on-off switch. This was not addressed in the instructions and I had to discover this by trial and error. Evidently it is designed to be used on floors only with the brushes running. Either switch can be used to switch it to off. The dust filters/collectors were not obvious to access. It involved a 3-step process to remove the motor unit from the main unit, remove the filter unit from the motor unit, and pull apart the two pieces of the filters. The filters are attached together by a simple friction piece that seems to do more harm than good. I do not understand it's purpose, except to confuse the process. In any event, the process is quick and it is easy to clean/empty the filters and collectors. The battery charger cable plugs into a socket on the rear about half way up. The main unit can stand on it's own with the handle up as long as the surface is fairly level and nothing bumps into it. Otherwise the handle will fall to the floor very ungraciously. It is not retained by anything but gravity. 3. Summary and final impressions: I was not too happy with the weak vacuum, but had to consider the usage and the limitations of a battery-powered device. Do not expect this to be your only floor cleaning tool. Still, if you can manage to do a brief vacuuming each day, this may help to maintain the floor. I probably won't be able to do that.

Super product with super results
The Electrolux Ergorapido Lithium ion vacuum cleaner for hard surfaces arrived this week in my home. I have tried this product on my hardwood floors and have had super results. The swivel action of the sweeper is very handy, especially under the kitchen cabinets. The wheels of this cleaner roll so smoothly and the vacuum is lightweight. This is an easy tool to carry from room to room if bypassing carpeted rooms. I especially like the color navy blue. The recharging cord works fast and easily. Another nice feature of this product is the ability for it to remain upright perfectly. This is not one that will topple over if needing to stop to pick up something else or answer the phone. I like that this sweeper also has a handheld sweeper for smaller jobs at elevated surfaces. I even used this one for the crevices on my carpeted stairs very successfully. The tool stores into the main sweeper easily and can be removed with one button push. I like that the tool also has an onboard storage for the crevice adapter, right on the handle. Nice design and super performance from both of these sweepers. I highly recommend this product.

A great purchase
We've had this product for a couple of years now and it's brilliant. Light, powerful, quick to recharge and easy to empty. Even when I clog it up with masses of dogs hairs it's easy to clean. About to buy one for my mum.

I bought this product about three years ago and used it three or four times before it quit working. For some reason, you cannot charge it and it will not work. I'm terribly annoyed that I paid good money for a product that has been useless to me. Grrrrr. No, I definitely would not recommend this thing. It's junk!
