Strong brace!
This brace is very strong and well machined with all corners and edges tumble polished, so that there are no sharp edges. Additionally, this also help with the zinc plating which makes those corner braces rustproof as well as safe to handle and install.
Material thickness seems 18 ga steel (0.516" or 1.31mm) which paired with the provided screws makes loadbearing capacity well overengineered for the normal applications for this brace.
The provided screws are also zinc galvanized, and although not stainless, have very good rustproofing
It's a great product with numerous application in furniture making, securing and repairing furniture and cabinetry and has unbeatable price on the market.

Get yourself a box of these and then go salvage some wood from whatever's nearby and not occupied. These "things" let you get real efficient with the design. If your neighbor has a privacy fence you can save wood and use that as a support for one side of your deck. Here are a few of the things I've built using these things for my customers to inspire you. Also, a good way to know if part of the deck will support a car or a pontoon boat is to estimate.

These braces worked perfectly to attach bookcases to the wall....
These braces worked perfectly to attach bookcases to the wall. Stacked the bookcases, mounted the braces into studs and they don't move at all. No way a child could pull them over.

Finished the job!!!
Installed new ciunter tops&cabinets, but did not k ine up/level off due to 90yr old uneven walls. Worked like a charm. Secured w/5/8in screws with lock washers
to (level) the counter top to the new cabinets. Perfect fit, no issues. Be cautious, though. If you don't pre plan and measure accurately, your counters will be uneven. Make sure you have levels and assistance during entire install. Good luck

Love them!
We used these on our faux beams between our family room and dining room. We painted them black and hung them using 1" lags. They were just what I was looking for and really give the area an industrial feel. I know these bracets arent necessarily a decor item, but they really look great!
