A:  Cappy They sell them in a box, (can’t recall how many/box), along with the screws/driver bit. The box contains regular clips, as well as some that are for junctions between boards,(which NEED to be on a joist.) By my math it looks like you’d need about 600 clips, ( 30 per board.) Good luck with your project. I love the product; it looks great. Just remember to leave an adequate space at the end joints; these boards WILL expand with temperature. (if you install them when it’s HOT, not as big a worry - gaps WILL open during winter...but that’s the way this stuff is.) If your clip ends up on a knot, PRE-DRILL it before trying to drive the screw. The square-head design is not the most robust; you’ll strip them.

A:  Thank you for your question. 18" spacing will not meet support requirements for the material, and may also allow for moisture to become trapped between the deck board and joist, leading to swelling. We do offer a 20' Seaside Grey deck board that can be cut in half for your project.
