Absolutely not this is not build for that purpose and safety considerations. You should use the appropriate fasteners.
Do you have the corrrect staples? I use Arrow T50 staples. No feed issues so far. Keep it oiled!
Yes, this stapler will work for most carpet.
I would expect it to go thru hard plastic. However, it may shatter the plastic rather than pierce it. In my experience most hard plastics will shatter when you try to pierce them.
The manufacture only rates this for 20ga staples.
This is a 29 ga wire staple gun. It will not penetrate concrete.
The PFWS does not handle Brad nails, common Arrow T-50 staples only. This stapler does require an air compressor. It is perfect for upholstery.
