About This Product
This solar LED deck and step light 4-pack offers an easy way to illuminate pathways or decks and rails. The lights can be installed in the ground using the included stakes or mounted directly on decks, steps or rails without the stakes using the provided screws. Each light has 3 integrated LED lights and produces 10 Lumens of light output. Installation is quick and easy with no wiring necessary and the lights are virtually maintenance-free with no bulbs to replace. The lights turn on automatically at dusk and operate up to 8-hours on a full charge. Each light uses 1 AAA solar rechargeable battery (included).

When we bring them in for the winter. Do we turn them off and wrap and store them in a dark place ? Or do we turn them off and leave them in sunlight?
Thank you for your question. When bringing the lights inside for an extended amount of time, we would suggest removing the batteries from the lights.
The on off switch is on the bottom. How to I turn it on or off when attached to the deck.
The only way is to remove them from the deck or whatever they are attached to.
Thank you for your question. The power button is only needed for initial use. Once the power button is turned on, the lights can be installed and the photo-eye sensor on the light will automatically turn the light on when the sun goes down and off when the sun rises.
Are there replacement lights for these lamps
Thank you for your question. No, the lights have integrated LED modules that can not be replaced. If you are having an issue with the light, please call Hampton Bay customer service at 1-855-HD-HAMPTON (1-855-434-2678) and one of the team members will be able to get more information to help troubleshoot and resolve the issue. They will also be able to send a replacement if needed. Depending on the purchase date, the light may still be covered under warranty.
The leds are integral to the lamp and are not replaceable. The batteries are replaceable.
I don’t believe so. Terrible design on these. Some failed after a month. The couple that still work only work once in a while. Bummer because these look nice but work terrible.

Does the unit have to be turned on before charged up by the sun? I left my units out for two days and am thinking "I did not turn the units on before placing them in the sun." When I go turn them on do you think they will they light up?

Can these be installed on the riser of the stairs?
Yes they come with mollies and screws.

How would these attach to stone steps where I don’t want to drill?
You can get some double sided adhesive (like Scotch Outdoor Mounting Tape) to attach them. I have flagstone steps and it is a solid hold.
