These Hampton Bay Riverbrook edition padded swivel patio chairs are very well made and look great. They are made with heavy grade metal and are easy to assemble. The chairs come with the required tools for assembly, as well as an extra nut, bolt and washer of each size in the event one gets lost during installation. Assembly takes approx 20 minutes per chair. The padded material is very attractive and comfortable.

The HAMPTON BAY RIVERBROOK ESPRESSO BROWN SWIVEL STEEL PADDED SLING OUTDOOR PATIO DINING CHAIRS (2-PACK) come delivered in pieces, so your first order of business is to put them together. This process is fairly simple if you follow the easy to read instructions. You're also given an extra piece of hardware for each component, should you lose one or whatever might happen- a great idea for every company to adopt, especially with little washers and nuts.
The allen wrenches provided will be able to tighten the screws into the chair/arm/back pieces, but you'll want a socket/regular wrench (rather than the flimsy wrenches provided- although they'll work) to tighten the chair to the base holder- it'll make things go much more smoothly and efficiently.
Once you've connected the arms/back/base connector, you simply stick the base pole into the base and push down- voila- you can start enjoying your chair. Also, as an added tip- build both chairs as you go so you can easily keep track of which screws/washers/nuts to use on each step.
The chair is heavy duty, elegant, and very comfy. You can bounce a little, spin, and recline in this chair, even as a large person. It's a well made piece of equipment and stylish as well.

Chairs are attractive, comfortable and relatively easy to assemble - took me about an hour and a half to unpack and assemble. I do recommend, though, having a socket set available, because attaching the base to the seat would be a pain using the :"kid's" tools they provide with the chairs. If the chairs will be exposed to the weather I suggest getting the covers as they are very good and quite reasonably priced!

These chairs are well made and solid. The padding is adequate enough to feel comfortable. They took a while to put together because they were not at all assembled in any way. Me and my husband had to put every screw and nut and washer in ourselves. Other than taking 3 hours to assemble both chairs I think it is worth it. They are comfortable and they swivel smoothly and rock back and forth slightly. The material seems like a quality material in that it is thick and textured. I like them!!

I've owned many other products by Hampton Bay, so I knew what to expect in quality and style. The Hampton Bay Riverbrook Espresso Brown Swivel Steel Padded Sling Outdoor Patio Dining Chairs (2-Pack) is equally well-constructed, versatile, comfortable, and very easy to assemble. Before starting, I also downloaded the suggested Bilt App as a video guide. The Bilt App video guide helps to cut actual assembly time. I finished both chairs in 50 minutes. I think that's a remarkable time. The chairs look elegant inside and on the patio. For now due to construction, I'm using them inside. They are wide enough for my slightly larger than average pillows. Theses chairs are lightweight and durable so moving them is no hassle. Fabric dries fast if it gets wet. Since the Brown Expresso color matches my outdoor swing set, this chair will get lots of use this summer.

The Hampton Bay Riverbrook sling patio dinning chairs are one of the best package I've put together. The nuts and bolts came nicely packed in their own packages. The bolts had washers pre-attached, saving time of having to put them together. Both chairs were done in 1 hour. These chairs swivel, has a little rocking motion and have padding that is comfortable for long sittings but not too thick that would take all day to dry up if it rains. Very nice material, solid frame, the weight is good so it won't tilt over during a storm. These chairs just scream summer relaxation, so inviting to sit on.

Doesn't rock
Nice chair. Should have read the review that says rocks very little. All of the swivel chairs I've ever had rock too. Not this one. Not rocking and the terrible assembly instructions for the base (even the video isnt very clear) are the biggest complaint. Sturdy and attractive.

These outdoor patio chairs by Hampton Bay are flawless. The parts were packed neatly in the box and I didn't find any scratches or issues with the parts. The instructions were very clear and assembly was very straight-forward with all parts and tools included. All parts lined up as expected and assembly time was around 40 minutes per chair on average. I used my own ratchet and box-end wrench instead of the included wrenches to save time attaching the seat to the part that goes into the base. There are instructions for downloading an app that will give you voice directions and 3D pictures of the installation steps. I found the app to be slightly more helpful than the included paper instructions for a couple of steps. I would say if you prefer to use your phone instead of reading from paper, the app is worth downloading.
Once assembled, the chairs look awesome and are very comfortable. They provide some ability to rock in them and you can fully rotate the chair while sitting in them, which is great when you are cramped for space like we are on our deck. We love the design and colors of the fabric. The chairs are well-padded and are heavy enough that they don't blow over easily but are still light enough to move around without much effort.
The chairs are definitely worth the investment.
