The Renegade Grain Scoop is and excellent product with many valueable features. First it's a "working" shovel...meaning that scooping grain, cleaning stalls, moving mulch or gravel are tough jobs that need a sturdy shovel. This scoop shovel has a steels blade and an Ash handle which means it will hold up to work on your farm or ranch which is where I am using it. It can also serve as a snow shovel, if you have some drifts to move by hand. It's and excellent value because it will should last a long time and it also comes with a Lifetime Warranty. .

I just ended a year of using a broken plastic shovel. Just could not think of throw out my one year old broken plastic shovel. I did love the lighter weight of the plastic, but don't try to shovel snow. I should have returned it. It remained useful until now even with 25% broken off. My new Renegade Grain Scoop with Steel Blade is a strong and sturdy tool that features a D-grip for maximum control. The blade is extremely tough and I expect it to withstand many years of use. No more plastic tools in my shed. 14 in. x 17 in. tempered steel blade 26 in. US ash handle Composite D-grip Short handle for confined spaces

I bought this shovel with shoveling snow/ice in mind. It handled wet snow and was easy to control, without spinning in my hands do to the load weight. I have not yet used it to remove ice, but do to its design the shovel head is more parallel to the ground and the handle comes up so it is easy to use. I can use it to break up and remove the ice without breaking my back and not get as tired shoveling snow. Although I do wish the picture of the shovel came with a side view to see how deep the shovel head is. But all in all, it has worked great so far. Here is some, I hope this helps.

I’m purchased this as a snow shovel to lick ear wet, heavy It is well built and sturdy. Unlike the cheap, plastic snow shovels, this will last for decades. It easily cuts through snow/ice and scrapes up the tire track hardpack on the driveway. In my Utopia, the handle would be 6” longer.
