Excellent quality and getting it on sale was a nice perk. A couple of tips: you'll want to use two peeps to mount the glass and consider using latex gloves while doing that to avoid fingerprints.

I will say, this has a unique design. It is one that a second set of hands is helpful. The assembly of the light as far as connecting the bulb cluster to the Canopy with the included rod is simple. Trying to hang the globe after installing the Canopy to the junction box is a bit harder. Hooking the three rods to the cradle for the globe is easier with a second set of hands. The black finish with the modern design make it appealing. The globe itself is unique in its design. Very easy access to switch out bulbs when it comes time or if you want to switch it up time to time using different types of bulbs.

Really beautiful fan that I hung up. It was super easy to install it’s very lightweight and only took a few minutes. You do have to be very careful on the ladder. The instructions were very good they explained exactly how it goes together and installing it was a snap. We’ll see how much better it looks when we get the bulbs. It did not come with bulbs, which is OK because I want to get the LED ones.

I reallyike this fixture, it is very nice. And fairly easy to install, however, you MAY want two people. According to the directions, you put the glass shade inside the ring that holds it and then hook it onto the base. As there is nothing to affix the shade to the ring other than gravity it can be a little hard to keep straight while you hook onto the base, this is where the second person comes in. It is possible to do it alone just be very careful not to let the shade slip. Also, this fixture does not come with light bulbs so keep that in mind when purchasing. Other than that it looks great, puts out an adequate amount of light, and does not hang down very far from the ceiling. This is helpful if you have standard height ceilings.

This Home Decorators semi-flush mount light is very attractive and extremely well built. This airy rustic design will enhance any gathering place in the home with it's large clear glass cover that is suspended by its heavy meatal frame. The candelabra light sockets add to the design, note that the bulbs shown are not provided. The build quality is excellent with all copper wiring, a heavy clear glass globe and all the hardware needed is provided to do a new install or replacement of an existing fixture. The beefy metal frame has a nice power coated black finish. Assembly is quick and easy.

This is a great light. It is more decorative than functional. It is pretty easy to install although it is quite different than most lights. I takes candelabra base bulbs which is draw back for me but makes it very attractive. It is well packaged and takes some assembly. But the assembly is pretty straight forward. I like the old English style of the light. I makes me feel like we are in a castle.

This light is a nice addition to my office. It is rustic with a modern touch. It is steel which is painted black in a crinkle paint that gives it a cast iron look. The shade is glass and as large as it is I am impressed there were no air bubbles. Installing the light was as easy as any other light and took me about 15 minutes. The instructions were easy to follow and understand. Overall I am really happy with this light.

As I was installing this new light my wife decided what it looked like. We have big clear ice bucket, really more of a pail, she thinks it looks like a suspended ice bucket. And as most of you know, she always right. Anyhow, as I unpacked the light I thought I'd show you the packing, which is protects it well. When I first opened the box the big supporting ring seemed to be missing, It's actually under the main Styrofoam piece, safely hidden. The supporting arms are well packed. The metal work looks like a thin wrought iron, it's too light to be real iron work, but it looks nice. I assembled it all before installation to determine how "tall" the installed fixture would be as my install needs it to be lower than 18", it's 15" tall. But the neat thing about it is it very easy to remove the glass shade (Ice Bucket) for cleaning. The hooks allow you to release two sides and easily slide out the glass (same for installing, slide the wires through the center post and screw them to the lights, then push the wires through the ceiling mount and screw together). Mount the bracket to you ceiling electical box, and attachthe wires (with supplied wire screws). Then attach the 3 long hooks, pointing up. Then hang the support ring on 2 sides, insert the glass and attach the 3rd hook; Done! It was really easy to do and you can do it all without the glass until the very end. Very well thought out by the manufacturer. I love the "modern" western appearance. The hanging light can't weight more then 2 lbs, so support is not a big issue. I decided to use 4 thin filament 40W "edison" led bulbs, that only consume about 4 watts each. This gives a really nice clean, interesting look. I'm most happy with my new light!

This Monteaux semi-flush mount light fit the bill for us. The timeless style helped work for our space – some new and old in a 1960s home. The 4-light style helps to give ample light to our closed off interior hallway. The black metal has an aged quality to it, you will see in the close up pictures a small texture. Easy to install, and would be easy to clean as the glass shade is only supported by the 3-hook arms. End the end, works perfectly for our space – zero complaints.
