Product Details

The new Super Finish Max paint sprayer can spray everything from furniture and cabinets to fences and walls. It covers a wider array of projects with less thinning and hassle. Spray oil- or water-based materials such as chalk-type paint, milk paint, latex paints, enamels, primers, clear sealer, polyurethane, stain and varnish. With 450-Watt of power, the Super Finish Max Paint Sprayer can handle thicker paints and varnishes which means less thinning. With six available spray tips, and three included, you can tackle a wide variety of projects such as furniture and cabinets, while also taking on fences, decks, and walls, which are uses typically outside the capability of an HVLP sprayer. The 40 fl. oz. container enables you to spray larger projects without having to refill as often, which is a huge time saver. HVLP sprayers use a high volume of air at low pressure to atomize the material your applying, producing a factory-like finish and greatly reducing overspray. Its internal air turbine provides a continuous flow to spray materials.

A: Use mineral spirits to clean. Break the tool down and clean the individual parts first. Then reassemble and fill cup with 1" of mineral spirits and spray that through to assure you've got every bit of material out of the tool.

A: To clean it correctly so it doesn’t give you problems on the next use is tedious. All sprayers are like this from what I hear from friends who have other brands.

A: Cleanup is simple. Break down the parts and rinse them under running water (for water based material s) then reassemble the tool, load it with water and spray that through. The sooner you clean, the easier it is. If cleaning oil based materials, use mineral spirits to clean, then rinse the tool with water also. For more help call us at 1-800-264-5442.

I’m not a painter, but this spray gun made me feel like one. I’m not a fan of, nor do I have the patience for a paint brush. I sprayed painted (primmer) 3 old dilapidated fiberglass ladders in about an hour. It would had taken me all day with a paint brush. Next I’ll be spraying them with paint. I’m actually looking forward to it. I wouldn’t paint a wall or a room etc with it. However, It sure is great for furniture and things with nooks and crannies. I ordered an extra container along with the 3 additional tips and the quick cleanup hose, I’m ready to rock n’ roll. I also bought some disposable paint strainers (very important). I recommend reading and understanding the instructions and get painting tips from additional sources. Good luck.

I've owned two HomeRight sprayers, which I've used exclusively for the application of sealant. This model is at least 2 pounds lighter than the first which really matters when you have several hundred feet of wood fence to spray.

Very happy with purchase. There is a 2 stage trigger. First for air, second for paint. Don’t just pull the trigger back and start spraying, you won’t be happy. Also, make sure you use a strainer for impurities, IT’S A MUST, yes even for brand new paint! Take that extra time. Used a Behr enamel diluted (per instructions) and it went on like a dream. Cleaned it really well after each use and had no problems.

I was skeptical at the relatively inexpensive cost of the sprayer. I thinned the primer as recommended and the stain/paint I used did not need thinning. The results were better than expected. The desk is affixed to the wall so the prep work to contain the overspray was time consuming.
