Good shelves, but you must be extra careful to not bump or bang the pieces while you are trying to put together the the unit. I found this out the hard way when the two side panels hit each other and caused a bit of a blip in the outer finish - thankfully for me, the blip was small enough to hide in the finished piece. The piece itself is/was super easy to assemble. All that was needed was a phillips head screwdriver and a bit of patience. Be certain to look out for the predrilled hole placements that indicate outside, inside and up down. Once you get the shelves screwed into the one side, the final panel is easy peeasy! It's a sturdy unit, but i HIGHLY suggest tethering the unit to a wall if it is placed in a child's room!

For a closet insert , I guess it's ok. I don't usually use pressboard in my home. It came damaged. It was wrapped obnoxiously. There was styrofoam All over. My living room looks like it snowed. The bottom was smashed. I would much rather use closet maid.the formaldehyde in pressboard promotes indoor pollution. The shape and size are fine. Didn't read the instructions and put the shelf with the hole in it in the middle.

This shelf is well packaged and fairly easy to assemble. It comes with plenty of extra hardware (screws) so just in case you lose some, you’ll have extras. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. At 15 lbs. the shelf does have a little more weight than I expected. However, that’s not a bad thing as it makes it less likely the shelf will tip over. The bottom shelf has a spot for a rubber foot, but the side edges do not have any such feet. They just sit on the floor. I have hardwoods which means I will need to put felt down to protect my floors. One thing I noticed is that the Styrofoam packaging the manufacturer uses to protect the panels during shipping goes absolutely everywhere and sticks to the panels. They are hard to get off without vacuuming. The white looks good and blends in to the corner of the room. The shelves are attached with two screws on each side which makes them very sturdy. This should hold a good amount of stuff/weight on each shelf.

First of all, this corner shelf is NOT intended for mounting on the wall. There are no holes in the back and would best be used on the floor. It was a little confusing to assemble because it wasn't clear on the instructions that holes on the wider side were further from the long side than the opposite side. To be clear, the wider side overlaps the narrower side board so that there are no raw edges showing in the back corner. I had to take it apart because I assembled it incorrectly the first time. Just make sure you take your time identifying the two long side boards before assembling. The 4 shelves include one that has a small hole on the bottom. That one sits on the floor and you insert a "bumper" (provided) for stability. The white finish on the shelf is average. I've seen better but it's ok. The shelf is VERY bright white so keep this in mind if you're putting it up against other white shelving of a different brand. This shelving unit is 34-3/4" tall and each corner side is 11" . This shelf seems quite sturdy and has more room on each shelf than I thought. This would be a good shelf to use as a bed stand because it's taller than most bed tables and newer beds are higher than they used to be. I'm going to use it in the corner next to one side of my bed. All in all, this is a good shelf and is at a good price!
