We had a similar one before and it lasted quite a few years and couldn't find the brand, so we decided to buy this one instead. It is working great. The hose is long enough and picks up debris all throughout the pool.

From the minute we put “Rolly” into the pool it started working hard. It does an amazing job of cleaning all the oak pollen pods (and there are a lot) out of the bottom of the pool. And it’s easy to clean the debris out of the bottom. The best part is, it hooks up to your water going into the pool. That frees up the skimmer to do its job.

First off its very easy to use. It does pick up leaves and even sand. Now two draw backs first is and really not terrible but it moves around pretty good but always after a awhile you will find it back near the pump outlet. Other issue is the hose twists up so much that it can only go about 12 feet. But all that said if your pool has minor debris and you can keep watch over it, it really worth the money.

You can pass this one up. What a joke! It gets stuck on the sides We have a 48" x 18' Easy set Intex with an Intex 12" sand filter pump. Set-up is easy enough. Remember, this attaches to the OUTLET, not the inlets. The vacuum seems to like only one side of the pool. We have mostly dead water bugs on the bottom of the pool. No leaves or heavy debris. We have a skimmer which attaches to an inlet so the pool really isn't that dirty. I had to stand in the pool and pick it up and place it to actually clean certain areas. This is a disappointing Intex purchase. Will he returning shortly.
