Can this faucet replace the faucet we use for our reverse osmosis system?

the on/off handle is way different than any faucet we've...

the on/off handle is way different than any faucet we've ever used in 75 years...that is taking some getting used to...
we were able to use a device on the spout of our old faucet where we could limit the flow of water once the faucet was turned on but cannot use the device on this faucet....
when washing hands or dishes, we could turn on the faucet, then limit the flow of water with the faucet still on full while we soaped our hands or dishes, then go back to full water flow by use of a switch on the device...this saved a lot of water and cost on the water bill...but the design of this faucet does not allow installation of the device...
we're probably the only people in the country with this type of device so not being able to use the device wouldn't impact anybody else....
other than that, the faucet looks good and operates well....

The faucet would have been perfect. After having all the plumbing done for our remodeled kitchen , the faucet was installed only to find out water gushed out of the handle.. We are out plumbing charges but at least Home Depot has an excellent return policy.
