Durability, attachment limitation and poor quality hose connection hardware.
CONNECTION: Within only a few months after the initial use, the hose metal connector between the hose and the gun was already rusted. I reported it to Karcher H.O. and received no action. It was the tip of the iceberg in terms of quality. (see Photo) ATTACHMENT LIMITATION: I needed a 90 deg wand to wash under the car and Karcher Service suggested a wand model number that did not even fit this Karcher washer model. After this error they told me that unfortunately, this model does not accept a 90 degree wand and that if I rig one up, my warranty could become be nul and void because this was not meant for such use??? DURABILITY: This unit was seldom used from 2017 to 2020 and winterized with antifreeze (in a heated garage). In the Fall of 2020 I used the wand adaptor (the second time) for concrete cleaning over a 15’X22’ patio and the unit leaked oil. Paying money to get it fixed appears to be a waste since I no longer trust the viability of this model and my faith in Karcher products is understandingly low. My previous Karcher model was a cheaper model that I kept for a decade and had a 90 degree wand attachment and, never had a problem with it, I gave it away when I bought the above more powerful model that was unknowingly deficient in quality (oil leak) and workmanship (rusted hose connection at the onset).

Well made, but disposable when the hose needs to be replaced
This pressure washer functions well and is well built, but I would argue it is also a disposable one because there is no way to replace just the high pressure hose. Karcher wants you to replace the entire reel and handle, which is all part of kit 8.756-314.0. This kit costs $60-70 online before shipping or tax. I was unable to find this kit at Home Depot. That means the $20 replacement high pressure hose for other pressure washers is a $100 expense on this one. And you will pay that much every time you need to replace the hose. That is just ridiculous, Karcher. You cannot use a regular hose because the hose is connected through a 90-degree coupler INSIDE the reel - see attached picture. No one sells just the hose with this coupler. I advise against buying this pressure washer... or any Karcher product as this design and unavailability of just the hose tells me Karcher is not interested in providing its customers with high value products and wants to nickel and dime its customers. What other questionable design components are part of Karcher products? I do not want to find out, which is why I did not buy another Karcher pressure washer.

      Update to My Previous Review
This is an update to my previous review regarding the Karcher K2010 Electric Pressure Washer. I had a problem with the Wand/Gun Assembly, where something internal had failed and large amounts of water poured out of the trigger area, even though it was not being pulled. Because of this it would not develop much pressure and the pump would not shut off. I now have to say that I'm impressed with the Karcher product support team, they noticed my review and went out of their way to contact me, and to make things right. They quickly ordered and ship a replacement for my failed Wand/Gun Assembly, and the new one appears to be of an improved design. Many thanks to the Karcher support team. I worked in the product support area for 30+ years and things do sometimes prematurely fail. But it's how a company responds to these failures that makes the difference.

Not much better than a garden hose and not as reliable
I purchased the Karcher K2010 2000 PSI 1.3 GPM Electric Pressure Washer a little over a year ago, and have used it a total of 4 times since. I only needed it to clean dirt off of painted and stucco surfaces. The first time I used it, it worked well and did a reasonable job, not great, but reasonable. About what you'd expect for a 1.3 GPM and 2000 psi unit. The second time I used it the handle started to leak, it was annoying, but tolerable. The third time I used it the 15* tip was rusted shut, and the handle was leaking a bit more, so I changed the O ring on the water hose, but it didn't fix the leak. The leak was inside the handle. And now I just went to use it for the fourth time and the handle is pouring out gallons of water and the nozzle does not shut off when the handle trigger is released. I removed the water line to the handle, and looked inside, and all the metal is all rusted. The washer is stored in a heated garage, so no, the handle did not freeze, with water in it. Save your money and buy something with better quality material, that doesn't rust and fail when exposed to water.

Buyer beware, Home Depot sources this product from another vendor. The unit we purchased had clearly been used as the power cord had been unraveled and water droplets were still present within the tank and inside surface of the tank cap. My best advice is to not purchase online. The response received from customer service was average; a 15% discount on the purchase of another unit online was offered or we could return the unit for a full refund. The overall rating does not apply to the pressure washer but the ability of Home Depot to deliver a product advertised as new.

This unit has excellent water pressure while only using 1.3 gallons of water per minute. It comes with 4 quick connect tips so that it can perform most cleaning tasks right out of the box. The turbo nozzle will blast away the worst stains on wood or concrete. A quick connect surface cleaner can be purchased for a modest cost to allow wood decks and concrete sidewalks/driveways to be cleaned about 4 times faster! I have used the pressure washer 4 times in the month since it was purchased and have not had any problems. Other pressure washers that I have used in the past did not do a good job of dispensing soap. I used the pressure washer to clean some outdoor rugs and had no problems getting the soap to soak into the rugs before using the 40 degree nozzle to clean the stains from the rugs. I would recommend this unit since its reputation is well deserved.

Using this pressure washer gives you instant gratification. It does all of the work as you watch it power through the dirt and algae growth. This would have taken me several hours to complete by hand with a brush, which is why I haven't cleaned it sooner. It is kind of magical how it cuts through it as you wave the wand up and down and side to side. I applied the water with the machine in the off position before using the 15 degree nozzle with the machine powered up. I didn't use soap because it wasn't included, but I didn't need it. The power cord has a GFCI that you can test before operating the unit. If you haven't used this type of machine before you can submit a question to the Karcher help team on their website Karcher-help.com. They can answer questions that you may have about hookup. There are three nozzles. 40 degree, 15 degree and soap. The foot pedal turns the power on or off. It was quick and easy to put it together because all you have to do is move the handle up to engage it, attach the wheels with a plastic washer and pin to hold it in place, and then screw in the water inlet. The nozzles just pop into their holders. The water hose on the machine is rolled up on the machine with a handle which makes it easy to extend the machine hose. There are holders for the trigger handle and wand as well. The electrical cord gets wound around two tabs for ease of storage. You will find many uses for this pressure washer. I am going to work on my grates for my gas grill next; that is not a fun job to do by hand so I am looking forward to watching the magic happen with my new machine. It is a great investment to make your life easier.

            A Homeowner Must-Have
Living in a brick house, we have lots of surfaces that can use pressure washing. I was so thrilled to receive our Karcher pressure washer. Set up was so simple. I was easily able to maneuver and operate the pressure washer by myself (and I'm very pregnant at the moment). I opted for the size 15 model to get acquainted with the equipment. My first project was cleaning off a slide we received for free. The dirt and grime washed easily away as I got the nozzle close enough to the plastic. I could easily see it was doing its job, without compromising the integrity of the plastic. As I finished the slide, I couldn't help but take aim at the mildew on the brick side of the house. I couldn't believe how quickly it was coming off. I didn't have any cleaning solution in the machine at this point, just water. Next, I moved to the peeling paint on some of our woodwork. Since scraping is such a pain, I was hoping to remove the loose chunks of paint before scraping the rest and repainting. This was the least effective of the projects I tried. I didn't try the size 40 nozzle because I didn't want to risk damaging the wood (which already wasn't in the best shape). The unit is easy to use and has a great reach. I was easily able to aim and clean the sides of our second floor deck without using a ladder. I'm completely hooked and want to pressure wash every surface outside our house. My one critique is that I used it so long that my hand started to cramp. I would love if there was a button to keep the sprayer depressed, so I didn't have to hold the handle the whole time. All in all, a great unit and a must have for any homeowner. A great investment!
