          Easy set up
I followed JoeD’s instructions to reinforce the joints and it worked like a charm. Took me about 1.5 hrs by myself and had a friend come over to help me put it on the legs (which took 5 min) though I could have done it myself. Was just easier with someone to balance it. I’m going to anchor it with the anchor set and some qwikcrete tomorrow but it’s pretty steady right now. We’ll see how it holds up to colorado snow and sun but very happy overall Spent an extra $75 for all the extra material but that puts me around $225 for a good quality car canopy vs the next price up which was $250 and not super well reviewed.

OK boat cover for the money, but I greatly improved it...
I couldn't find any high-quality 10x20 boat covers. This one from HD for $170 is ok, but it needs to be greatly strengthened to withstand the wind and weather. The kit includes 24 pieces of 1-3/8 inch steel pipe in 68" and 52" lengths, plus nine 3-way and 4-way connector pieces to join the pipes, plus 50 ball straps, 6 plastic foot pads, and 1 medium-weight 10x20 tarp. The instructions are minimal but it's not hard to figure out and follow the illustrations. The pipes and connectors slide together, but there are no screws or bolts to fasten them together. To strengthen the whole shelter, I slid a piece of 1.25" PVC tube over each steel pipe, after cutting a couple of slits in the PVC, then used stainless hose clamps to tighten the PVC down on the pipe. (I copied this idea from an earlier reviewer!) I drilled 3/8-inch holes at each connector and fastened each connection w/ a 3/8" stainless steel bolt. In total I purchased over 100' of PVC tubing plus (24) 2-inch hose clamps and (32) stainless steel 3/8" bolts (plus nutss and washers). I anchored one side of the whole thing at each leg to an adjacent fence and the other side at each leg with 24" rebar driven into the ground. It's not going anywhere. Extra costs totaled about $130. Plus I purchased a second 10x20 tarp for another $30 for when the original wears out likely within 6 months. It looks ok and does the job. I'm satisfied with the end result, but it required a bit of extra time and cost buying the extra materials and building in the extra strength.

              Worth the Money
I bought this unit to park my utility trailer under. It is in a wooded area and I wanted to keep all the various tree debris off the trailer. I had read a previous review that stated that the 6 tarp support tubes would bow in excessively due to the load from the tarp attachment bungees. I purchased (2) ten foot long schedule 30 PVC pipe that would just fit over the tube diameters. I cut the PVC into (6) 40 inch sections and double slotted the PVC tubes (a table saw makes easy work of this) at four locations on each PVC section. (at each end and two areas near the middle of the PVC tube). I then centered the PVC tube sections over the point where the tarp support tubes are joined for added stiffness. I put 4 hose clamps at each location on the PVC where the slots were cut so the PVC tube could be effectively clamped onto the tarp support tubes. I also purchased 6 concrete rebar sections (1/2 inch diameter by 2 ft long). I bent over one end and used them as stakes to anchor down the corners and the middle of the canopy. The rebar make great stakes and have good holding power in dirt. (plus they are cheap). Otherwise I followed the assembly instructions and everything fit together perfect. The first night we had 50 - 70 MPH winds roll through the area and the canopy held up perfectly with no issues. I made these modifications because I don't plan on removing the canopy on a regular basis. I also installed #10 X 1 inch long self tapping screws in all the joint fittings. With all the modifications, It took about 4 hours to assemble the entire canopy which I did by myself. The additional materials cost about 40 dollars. The canopy was worth the money

Great quality, easy assembly, good value.. NICE!
I ordered this canopy to use as a shade shelter over my hot tub and patio seating. The directions are easy to follow, but an extra person helps as you put it up. The poles and connectors are heavy duty, but we opted to pop-rivet them together as it will be a permanent structure. Living in Southwest Florida, the reflective top is perfect and is well made. It looks GREAT for such a reasonable price. I would, and I have recommended this to a friend for purchasing. I then returned to Home Depot and purchased some white lattice, which I attached to the canopy as a decorative privacy fence and love my new covered patio!
