Heating system should be operational for at least two weeks prior to installation to calibrate temperature settings. Flooring cannot be laid directly over radiant heating mats. Please consult with the radiant heat system manufacturer to ensure that the system is compatible with vinyl flooring.

Does it need plastic film on the concrete to be installed?
Thanks for your question. Over concrete, you can use a 6 mil poly/plastic sheeting if you want to but it is not required. It will not affect your warranty either way.
What is the thickness of the actual vinyl plank not including the underlayment?
Thanks for your question. The Pinecrest Place Oak (model # I233111L) plank minus the underlayment is 5.5 mm thick. The pre-attached underlayment is 1 mm.
Do I use padding under or vapor barrier
Thanks for your question. Our planks have a pre-attached pad so nothing else is required.
My basement flooded and the flooring was wet can i dry the floor or do I have to replace it?
Thanks for your question. The floor will most likely need to come up. The planks are very dense and won't allow water trapped underneath to evaporate properly.
Can this be installed in a sauna
Thanks for your question. We do not recommend or warranty installing our Lifeproof product in a sauna.
Is this flooring SPC or WPC?
Thanks for your question. Our Lifeproof planks are often lumped in with WPC but since the core is only made of extruded vinyl and there is no wood or plastic, it's neither WPC nor SPC.
