It is a compact, yet well-made hand truck. I have a sturdier dolly I use outside. This one will be used only inside so the wheels don't get messed up. The wheels are solid plastic and seem to be of a good quality. Because I intend to use it only inside, I didn't want to scratch them and then scratch my floors. Since getting this hand truck, I have used it several times. It worked great hauling totes full of Christmas decorations upstairs. I even used it to haul wrapped Christmas presents downstairs. It comes with a bungee cord to hold things in place. Because it's foldable, I could see using it in a vehicle to haul larger purchases. I would buy another if I were going to do this, though. It's made from aluminum, and I expect it to last for many years. The weight capacity is 155 pounds.

This hand truck is a great solution if you don't have room to store the full size standard 2 wheel dolly. It easily folds and unfolds, once you learn the process, and 155 lbs is a good amount for most jobs. Handle is comfortable and firmly locks into place using the red handle as the release lever. A couple items to think about before buying. There were no instructions, so learning to folding/unfolding process is trial and error. I found the easiest way to unfold is to pull both wheels to their 'in-use' position (perpendicular to the dolly handle) and hold them there with your feet. Then, fold down the steel base which locks the wheels in position. You can't really unfold the steel base without first rotating the wheels. Another item is the steel base has rough, unfinished edges. Be very careful on hardwood or tile floors to prevent scratching. 'Walking' the dolly is definitely not advisable. Nice to have, especially since it folds away so small.

Folding Hand Truck with Steel Toe Plate review: This is a very handy portable hand truck for moving medium weight objects. The handle extends/shrinks for use/storage. It is very easy to expand and collapse and is small and lightweight. I have packed a box weighing 40 lb and it handled it easily and the bottom plate did not bend! I was concerned about the plate bending but it is stout and has held up without flaw. What is really great is that it collapses down into a small size for taking to other sites and moving objects around. The wheels are also well made and large enough to go over bumps in the real world. I like this dolly! There ya go!

As a D-I-Yer, I've often battled to move furniture, concrete lawn features, boxes full of tools, etc. And on many of those occasions, I've ended up with more than a few strained muscles as "souvenirs" of the battle. I decided it was time I enlist a lifting "partner"-- one I wouldn't have to call for assistance, and one with consistent strength. Enter this incredible handy Pack-N-Roll folding hand truck from Olympia. Folded up, this lightweight (9 pounds) aluminum hand truck is the size of a framed 16" x 24" picture-- a tool you can easily hang on your garage wall, store in a closet, or throw in the trunk of your car. Extend the handle with a squeeze, fold down the hefty, spring-loaded steel toe plate, and you're ready to lift and move items up to 155 pounds. This sturdy hand truck features large bearing wheels, making for a smooth move over any surface-- concrete, grass lawns, gravel; the truck also includes a sturdy midsection stabilizer, which provides additional support for the load and keeps the handle rigid and wobble-free-- great for moving boxes or bags that have shifting contents like sand, pet food, etc. I've used this hand truck a number of times, both indoors and out-- from a concrete birdbath to an oak desk-- and every task was a piece of cake with this Pack-N-Roll. This is a tool most homeowners (like me) tend to overlook buying. But it's a back-saver I should have gotten years ago-- highly recommend.

This cart is more compact than most and sturdier than any other compact cart I have used. It easily fits behind the seats of my regular cab pickup truck. I regularly have need of a cart to move boxes of promotional material and displays for a museum I volunteer for and at times for my work as a carpenter. This cart handles it all with ease. The wheels are non-marring, roll easily and are of a very convenient size. I don't think this cart could be any easier to use. My only concern is the toe plate is steel and has some edging that could be ground smoother or better still, enveloped in a non-marring vinyl. I will have to put something on mine so I don't have to worry about scratching wood, vinyl or similar floors.
